It sounds like this was the Rams guy if they couldn’t trade down.

He has similarities to Travis Kelce. Measures similarly.

He may have been taken a few picks earlier than expected but every mock draft I saw had him chosen in the second round. Most of the top TE’s are off the board now.
Im pretty sure Rams had Mason Taylor ahead of Ferguson but my guess is it wasn’t by much. Not sure how accurate but I heard a statement during the broadcast that Ferguson was on the list of candidates for Rams at the R1.26 pick. If so, sounds like they were hellbent on getting a TE.

Looks like he goes down real easy and lacks the strength to compete at the NFL level.

This has the makings of a very bad draft.

But time will tell.

Where did you see he goes down easy, I haven’t seen it. He has great RAC. I do think he needs to increase his strength to improve his blocking. A year in a NFL weight room might be exactly what he needs.

Big target with some athletic skills that needs work blocking. This was clearly a McVay pick. He definitely has something in mind with two tight end sets. And despite draft projections putting him in lower rounds than he was selected, Mcvay liked him. Maybe they could have gotten him later but no one knows for sure how other teams graded him.

McVay wanted a tight end and got one. Now we will see how he develops. McVay compared him to Chris Cooley.

It was a deep TE class,he fits what The Rams were looking for .Really sucks Mason Taylor was off the board.
Glad he went to The J.e.t.s instead of the 9ers

He was a game changer, was a player I wanted The Rams to draft in the 3rd rd.I guess that was going to be wishful thinking.

TE was a need the TE group for The Rams under preformed in 2024.Higbee came back & helped open up the offense. Parkisian stinks,Long played ok,but Davis really took a step back .

Parkinson makes way too much money for a 3rd TE.

Anyone know how much cap hir we take cutting him?

McVay said that Ferguson reminds him of Chris Cooley, whom he coached. He also mentioned Kelsey vibes.

If that’s accurate then sign me up.

I can see some of that. The contact balance isn’t great but he does get some Yards after the catch.

This is entirely possible. We know the way Snead does things is they identify targets and move up or back to acquire them. I wouldn't be surprised if they were betting that at least one of Taylor and Ferguson would be there at 46.

Well why not?! Oregon, baby!! My opinion is Terrance is just coming in to his own. He’s a gamer and a favorite player of the fans because of his determination and grit. He has great hands. Let’s Go Rams!!!!
