Nick Fairley, St. Louis Rams DT, joined Sirius NFL Radio’s The End Zone and talked about the talent on the Rams Defensive Line, what he likes about Gregg Williams, what his playing weight is right now, and why he signed in St. Louis.

Anything less than the Rams breaking the sack record this year would be a little disapointing to me. I know that's pretty lofty expectations but that's the kind of talent this Dline has and if they come out of the gate firing on all cylinders I think that will be the end result.

Let's see, for the Fun of it:
* Quinn - 23 Sacks
* Long - 20 Sacks (because I want two 20's)
* Donald - 12.5 Sacks
* Fairley - 10.5 Sacks
* Brockers - 8.5 Sacks

And then add in 10 more sacks for the LB's, CB's, and Safeties.
That's a total of 84.5 Sacks! VERY DOABLE!! But then again I'm the Biggest Homer around here!! AND ..

I think we can expect probably 20 or more sacks from guys not on the Dline. I bet Ayers and Barron alone will have 5+ each.

Looking forward to watching them. If we can get started right out of the gate and our offense is even decent, I think we win a lot of games and have a very good shot at the playoffs. I can't see this being even remotely out of reach for this team.

I cant wait to see this DL, we have 4 very good pass rushers and a great run stopper to switch it up between them.
