Yes, the year after the Super Bowl they had a ton of injuries. Two seasons after the Super Bowl they made the playoffs again. This year a ton of injuries.

I'd be suprised at 1-4 and with the 2nd youngest team in the nfl if the Rams make any trades.
This is something to remember when we look at our 1-4 start.
We have a bunch of rookies and 1st year players, and honestly a bunch of nobodies in between.
Stafford, Kupp, Havenstein... about 3 out of our 53 man roster is veteran.
Chances are that's probably going to lead to some struggles.

All mindless dribble as far as Rams trades being discussed are concerned. Mostly revolving around Stafford.
Do the Rams really have much capital (players or draft choices) to move?
Veterans with big contracts, veterans on expiring contracts and young players who are pending free agents are not really marketable ... are they?
Does the title say Ram trade rumors or NfL trade rumors?
Idk… maybe reading comprehension wasn’t a big thing in school in the in the mid 20th century but it helps in conversations today.
Yeah they know this team is missing difference makers. So that first round pick has to be off the table since no addition is going to put this bunch into contention.
Though I do think if a wide bodied DL were to come available it would greatly help this defense. That or a good corner but honestly at this point we're better off using our picks next offseason and pairing another strong draft with an improved FA haul.

Since the Other topics are turning into RAMS AKA Stafford trade rumors. Figure I have one here. We all know about the NFL reporters saying Stafford is leaving LA this year or before Trade Deadline.
Most are just saying this because we are 1-4
I dont see a trade with Stafford at all going on with these numbers.

What we need to win another title WITH Stafford...
NT or 5T. If Turner plays on the nose then we need a guy for over the tackle. And vice versa. We're one short up front and will still be even when Fiske comes online down the road at 3T. You gotta win in the trenches up front on defense to contend.
CB1. We need a guy who can erase or at least compete and have a chance to win vs the top draws.
S. We need a deep middle rover with real range who can disrupt completions or intercept balls.
LT. This has to be solved. Who is our LT going forward. If the Rams go with Jackson I'll do what I did with Boom and cross my fingers. But they need to make a call on this and possibly invest a top pick to get a guy who can do it.
Pass game threat. We need one additional threat at a minimum. Ideally that additional threat will be an X for outside the hashes, but a top TE would give us a huge boost as well.
Can we do these things this next offseason without our other key positions degrading. I think it will be tough, but the truth is if we can get most of them done then we will be a contender. As all teams have weaknesses.
