Honestly? They could wear the uniforms, wear dresses, or go around stark naked, so long as they win. That's all I care about: winning.

I get it. I understand why they did it. Not my "first" choices but I'm good with them. Change was inevitable.
Disagree that change was inevitable.

Don’t understand why they would mess with the horns. That’s major.

Some looks are iconic, and the horns were iconic in my opinion.

The Packers and Steelers don’t change. The New York Yankees still wear their iconic pinstripes.

Ive hated everything about this rebrand. WHole thing seems like a rather desperate attempt to win over a fickle LA market instead of leaning in to what the root of the Rams identity is. Every non Rams fan I know always liked the bold, solid line horns on the helmet, it was the most iconic part of the rams brand. Changing that alone is sacrilege.

Lol, its a football uni.

Espn sports center just trashed them

SportsCenter is still on?

Look .. I am 56 yrs old and have been a Rams fan my whole life. I know damn well about the the "iconic" status. Fact of the matter is... change IS inevitable. Only a fool would think not. This team came back into a market that was vacant for over 30 yrs. Sure, there are a lot of us old coots that stuck with them, but the younger generation was and is still split on who they root for. L.A. is a melting pot. The Rams are trying to reach a new and younger generation to embrace them as their own. They did keep the colors we wanted, and a bit of the old school looks. But they also added a new "fresh", swag looks to bring in that group that will love them for another 50+ yrs. I can't fault them for that. Nobody should.

they could have changed colors all together..... or even knocked the horns off the helmet. I for one am glad they didn't and still managed to reach out to their future. In today's world ... this is such a trivial topic. We should feel lucky to even have games at this point ,let alone whine about not sticking with 40 yr old uniforms

This may change some minds, may not. Worth a listen regardless.

I am 59 and have also been a Rams’ fan my whole life.

I have posted numerous times that I am ONLY talking about the horns. Not the uniform, colors or logo. Those things have changed multiple times since we have been fans

Aside from the width, the horns have been the same since before you and I were born.

While change is inevitable, the horns did not have to be changed. That’s why I gave examples of other teams that have not made changes.

I would like you to take a look at this. Do you see a twist or a "break" in the horns?

That's a pendant!

I am not talking about anything but the horns on the helmet.

I am not even talking about the break in the horn.

As I posted several times ... both before and after the release ... I was hoping they would not shorten the horn.

In my opinion, the horns on the helmet looked great. Those damn horns made me a Rams' fan as a child. Just don't think the change looks good at all.

Some like the new helmet horns (your posts have positive replies); and some of us were greatly attached to (and will miss) the iconic Rams' horns ... again ... on the helmets.

Hope you don't mind if I share a quick story.

December 1968.

I am playing in the snow with some friends. Come into the house to change into dry clothes so that I can go out and play some more. My father is resting on my bed and watching a football game on a little portable black-and-white TV. The screen was about five inches.

I sit on the floor and forget about going back outside to play because I can not take my eyes off the screen. I ask my dad ‘who is playing’; and he says the ‘Vikings and Rams’. I get-up, walk to the small screen and point to the coolest thing I had ever seen … the Rams helmets; and ask “which one are they”. My father tells me ‘that’s the Rams’.

I sit back down on the floor and announce to my dad that “I am a Rams’ fan”.

My old-man replies … “We live in New York. We are Giants’ fans”

I guess I looked kind of sad and asked about not being a Rams’ fan.

My father … more than fifty years later and many, many years since he passed away but still the coolest guy I have ever known … smiles and says 'you can root for whatever team you want'.

They do not look like the Chargers, that's a weak stretch.

Uni's don't change often (or never like in KC) so I hope everyone likes them and grow on the ones who don't. I love the ole navy and gold pants but many didn't. Plus the STL Rams logo was the best. But I get it, they're opening a new stadium and rebranding to some degree. It'll be interesting to see it all come together over time.

That’s awesome. Thanks for sharing. (y)
