Interesting... But, not sure I like it. Those 49’ers seem the ideal team to embrace disrespected status.

Money Being Wagered Overwhelming Taking Chiefs

Everyday that goes by, it seems more and more people think the Kansas City Chiefs will be the eventual winner of Super Bowl LIV. It’s not just your regular Joes who think as NFL coaches and executives also believe the Chiefs will blow out the San Francisco 49ers at Hard Rock Stadium.

Just recently, SportsLine shared betting information on the Super Bowl that came from William Hill US that showed bettors are putting their money where their mouth is.

The info shows a vast majority of the money bet on the game is going to the Chiefs.

The 49ers have been disrespected all season long, even though they won the top seed in the NFC, had the No. 4 ranked offense as well as the No. 2 ranked defense in the entire league.

They even destroyed the Green Bay Packers and only needed QB Jimmy G to throw 8 total passes all game long.

I guess they will have to show the world how good they are once again on the big stage.

The 49ers are not all that. Don't get me wrong, they are a good team (I just threw up a little in my mouth saying that), but they are not a great team.

They basically had a free run to the superbowl.

They beat a poor Vikings team and then beat a poor Packers team.

I think both the Saints and Seahawks match up much better against the 49ers whereas the Packers and Vikings both were not good matchups.

And if not for a couple bad plays, the Rams would have beaten the 49ers at 49er stadium. I felt the Rams dominated that game but for a few plays. That one at the end of the game where Rapp decided to visit the sideline during the play still kills me.

One thing I'll say is that the 49ers won't be able to continue hiding Jimmy Garrappolo like they did in their previous two playoff wins, especially against a team that can put up a ton of points in a hurry. He's going to have to make some plays, and that's where things get dicey, especially when the head coach doesn't have a lot of confidence in him.

One difference I see is that the whiners defense is far superior to the Chiefs, particularly if Chris Jones is still hampered. I could see the defense hold Mahomes down and the whiners rush offense put some points on the board. Remember, Chiefs run defense is pretty bad, while the whiners run offense is near the top in the league. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the whiners win. I'd be sick to my stomach however.

Imo if the Chiefs come to play they will win. Chiefs are notorious for choking at big moments. However I think the Chiefs give the 49ers their worst loss of the year. Thats what im hoping for anyway.

I fear the 9ers are the better team. But that said one thing gives me hope... They were quite soft vs the run on defense down the stretch.

I pray that Andy exposes that and blows that defense the F out in the big game. Please deliver us Chiefs, you are our last hope.

They have the better defense. There is no way in hell they have a better offense, and definitely do not have the better QB. Chief need to attack them with the run and roll out Mahomes like the Rams did with Goff (and the Packers, stupidly, did not with Rodgers). Make them chase and wear them down.

Defensively, I hope Spazz has something up his sleeve like he did in his last appearance in a Super Bowl as DC. The Chiefs did do a good job of containing Henry against the Titans, hopefully they can do the same against the 49ers mediocre QB.

I'm surprised that the betting is going the Chiefs way. It's close on the number of bets but, the dollars are much more going to the Chiefs.

IDK...Chiefs have to stay ahead of the chains and not get into 2nd and 3rd and long. I know if obvious but, the Whiners pass rush is too good. Move Mahomes around and keep them guessing with a blance attack. Kinda the same thing for the Whiners. It's not much of a spread for a good reason. It should be close.

Between Mahomes and all his weapons and the way Chiefs D bottled up Henry, this is not a surprise. Chiefs D will be ultra aggressive again this week. Niners are a better version of the Titans.

The 9ers are a far better team than the Titans were. Garoppolo is a limited QB, but when he does need to throw things are wide open because of the focus required to slow their run game. Spags vs the Titans was child's play vice going up against Shanny Jr, who is far more deceptive and creative in his ability to tie concepts together in his gameplan.

9ers will put up some points on the Chiefs defense. It's gonna happen. Question is whether the Chiefs' offense can hang with them and I pray they can.

I'll have a soft spot in my heart forever for the Chiefs if they down this whiner team. Just get it done.

To be fair, the Chiefs beat the Texans (O'Brien lol) and a very offensively limited Titans. Not exactly a tough gauntlet.

I have a feeling all the big money whales are going to be dumping money on the Niners later next week.

Yes! Wait and see if some crazy arrest happens or someone tears an ACL in practice. We've seen it before.

Just visited the Sportsbook -

I bet the Over

I bet the Chiefs - 2.5

I bet the Chiefs straight up

I'm not going to thrill anyone with a long, drawn out post

IMO, the Chiefs match up well at WR/TE against the Whiner secondary and that will be enough.

Don't think the Whiners can run enough and score to offset the Chiefs complete passing game.

I'm taking the better Quarterback with Patrick Mahomes who I believe is truly special, I'm also betting on Chief DC Steve Spagnuolo to devise a plan to slow down Shanahan's rushing attack and force Garoppolo to throw the football with the hope that Jimmy G throws a pick or two...Come on Chiefs!

I honestly think the best bet is on the whiners due to their huge defensive advantage. That said, can I really put money on them and then...... gasp... root for them? I think not. GO CHIEFS
