They’ve played a crappy schedule but rule number one: do not give the Niners life- they will come back from the dead. We gave them life and we did the same thing to Seattle, now we have a tougher battle.
Totally agree, Rams can blame nobody else besides themselves. 49ers are now humming, but I sure hope the Bears blitz Purdy more then the Colts did.
Naw I figured it out - as it stands now, we will face the Panthers if we win our final 2 games. Eagles only need to win 1 game to get the #3 seed.
We have the tiebreaker over Seattle and SF will have a worst record than us when either of them lose the final game.
We just have to win the last two games.
So, we will have the number 5 seed who faces the Panthers #4 seed.
Green Bay #7 seed (most likely) will face the Bears #2 seed (if they lose to either SF or Lions) or Seattle/SF #2 seed and Seattle/SF# 6 seed will face the Eagles #3 seed.

They have been winning all season and with a make shift team due to injuries. The way they looked last night the Rams DB's would get spanked all over the field.

I tell you what. Beating them game 5 would have been HUGE, as they were reeling a bit. We were their only win sandwiched between a couple losses when the injuries started piling up. Although they were stacking wins against crap opponents, we did give them more life, and we would be a game ahead of them now. Their path to the #1 overall seed would be a pipe dream.
Right now? They LITERALLY can go home, win 2 games, HAVE COMPLETE CONTROL over the #1 seed, rest a week AT HOME, beat the lowest seed, HOST the NFCCG, if they win, HOST the Super Bowl.
This is now our reality. Because we shit the bed week five (among other things)
Care to tell me now how we didn't resuscitate their dead carcass?
