I think Sam is just a bit immature. Westbrooks, at an earlier stage "got it". I've been told Sam still, a bit too, much talk. He's an intelligent guy, would kind of think he "knew it". Does not mean this experience will be lost on him, could still come back and be a player in NFL
Never heard anything negative about Sam, and Westbrooks has done little to show that he was the better choice IMO.
Getting cut from two practice squads isn't the end of the line for him most likely (as you said), but if he doesn't make it I don't think it will have anything to do with his attitude.

We probably bring him back to camp next year if he doesn't catch on elsewhere

Please guys - don't make this into a political debate over sexual orientation.
The problem is though that outside of his sexual orientation, Sam is a non-issue. If the guy could make it in the NFL, he'd at least be on someone's practice squad.

He did well in college, but his game didn't translate to the NFL. Period. Wasn't the first, won't be the last.

all I'm going to say is I'm really fucking glad that this team doesn't have to rely on guys who have been cut from two different practice squads especially in a really important position.......... for example quarterback

Yeah, you'd have to suck balls to get cut by the Rams and the Dolphins.

if he lost some weight and gain some speed he'd have a shot at being a linebacker in a 3-4 but other than that I don't think he's going to get it done based on the fact that he is seemingly a step too slow to be a pass rusher in the NFL

And you can't coach up speed. You got it or you don't and Sam doesn't have NFL LB speed. He'll have to make it as a pass rush specialist somewhere.

I don't know if he lost 30 pounds would he be fast enough to play I have no idea

I think the answer is probably no because the Rams tried to get him to gain weight and strength for the DL. They certainly knew that they were stacked on the DL and thin at LB at the time.

He just doesn't have enough potential to interest me. Not enough burste or ability, he's all motor. Then again Hayes hasnt wowed me so what the hell.

He's sure as heck not better than Sims, though..
