There’s also the POSSIBLE Puka Suspension looming. And Adams missed 4 games i believe to injury and is a year older. Yeah, the biggest need in this Draft serms to be Wideout. Not even sure Lemon is going to be there anymore with Tyson's drop. The "trendy" receiver these days seems to be the JSN/Amon Ra St Brown types. In other words, Lemon....
Was Puka arrested?

Was Puka arrested?
No.

None of the following were arrested.

Sims is saying what I pointed out above. Perhaps, just maybe, Simpson is something special if we take int consideration how sick he was over the final half of the season. He lost somewhere between 25 and 30 pounds. He also picked up an injury that effected the power of his throws
Bo Nix is not the comp you want. If not for one of the greatest QB coaches in the league, Nix would have been bounced as a starter. He still has stretches where he's abysmal.

Bo Nix is fine, IMO. Wins alot of games. He's Diet Drew Brees to me. Already made a Championship Game and Playoffs twice in his first two years. We happen to have a head coach on same level and probably better than Payton. So we can work same magic. And the Rumor was that McSnead wanted to trade up for Nix.

No one who's watched Bo Nix play would say he's fine.

That being said, I think he's got two things going for him: Payton as his coach and a talented enough offense around him to give him a few seasons to grow to become more consistent series to series and better at the intermediate stuff. He has gotten better than last year where he had stretches which were unwatchable.

This is an exaggeration in my opinion. We disagree. Cool

If Rice didn’t get suspended for his domestic abuse against his girlfriend (he didn’t - nfl case closed), there is absolutely ZERO point ZERO chance Puka does here.

Hey listen, im on YOUR side, i hope you're RIGHT. I'm just pointing out the POSSIBILITY.

I dont think any player they take at #13 is a guaranteed impact player. I suppose a WR would see some snaps but outside of an injury to Puka or Davante, the snaps would be limited. An OT would ride pine just as much as a QB. The way I read the Rams take is that they've done what they needed to in order to improve from last year, and continually look for those sparks they can add
#13 to me should see a lot of snaps as a rookie, as an expectation.

It’s a long season, so not playing a ton week 1-6 is a ripple we’ll forget about by the Superbowl.

I think McVay can get Tate, Lemon, Cooper going in the offense quicker than maybe a guy like Sadiq.

Lemon is ready DAY ONE. In my honest opinion. 5'11" Receiver is a DAWG.

Not sure if it's in this thread or not as I don't feel like looking, but Daniel Jeremiah may have some Rams intel connections as he used to work with current Rams Personnel Consultant Phil Savage.

Yeah there was a bit of chat from some about DJ not knowing anything about the Rams.

Idk man, I don't have any reason to watch Broncos games but Bo seems like a pretty promising young QB from the little I have seen. No young QB is going to be Stafford tier or play without making mistakes but "fine" seems like an objectively low bar to clear for a guy who is 2nd all time rookie passing TDs and 3rd all time for the most passing TDs in his first two seasons.

You may be right, but I have seen every game Sadiq played, and he will develop into something special. If allowed to do so under a coach like McVay, we're talking All-Pro level type of player before the end of his first contract. But he's not a WR? And #13 is too early to take another tight end? Snead doesn't necessarily think that way. His addition would allow McVay to run 12 and 13 personnel like no one in today's NFL has seen. With Puka and Adams, and Parkinson or Ferguson as well, you don't think McVay will be able to get one-on-ones with LBs on Sadiq? Who has run a 4.39? And can block? He could be an H back as well. Can even hand it off to him at times. Forget about the position for one minute and look at the PLAYER.

Much of what you said could apply to Ferguson and he was used sparingly. He may not run a 4.39, but the dude can move and was the most athletic TE in that draft class. TE's have a tough adjustment to the NFL I've heard which is why they typically don't impact for a couple seasons. There clearly has been some recent immediate impact guys, but they are the exception generally.

I'm not for them taking Sadiq at 13. With a trade down possibly, but, I'd rather have Cooper or Concepcion if we are moving back. Think they both are day 1 contributors.

Same difference. If anything this shows McVay's theory of not giving Rookies snaps is wrong sometimes.
No, it doesn’t.
It’s exactly what was said, sure a rookie can play but it takes an injury situation for it to happen. Had Kupp been healthy who knows what would have happened.
