.

i predict there won't be many games where he's padding his stats. or any game actually. i don't see the rams getting blown out this season.

.

Good Point!! Stafford will just have to get all those stats playing 3 quarters every game!!!

I don't need a ton of yards and TDs, just efficiency and a lack of mistakes with some explosiveness. I'd judge his season moreso by his YPA and number of Ints tbh

1. When ahead at halftime the Rams with Stafford will continue to seal the victory.
2. TD to interception ratio will be much better than 2020. something like 32-10.
3. Stafford will lead the Rams offense to several 2nd half comebacks.

13-3 regular season record. Super bowl MVP.

Helping the Rams get to and WIN the SuperBowl is the only thing that really matters (And, I am pretty sure that is why the Rams paid the price to trade to get him!!!)!

I am expecting about 28 TD 14 Int season for around 4000 YDs.

But stats for a QB are dependent on the surrounding cast and system.

My biggest hope is Stafford plays lights out in the playoffs and Super Bowl. That's when it matters most.

So far his playoff QB rating of 87.8 has been disappointing. He needs to turnaround his 0-3 playoff record.

I believe he has it in him and h will certainly have the scheme and defense to support him.

I think his numbers will be modest. He’ll have a 1,000 yard back, a defense and a winning record at the end of the season. That will all be new to him.

They were talking on some show I was watching about how Stafford is one of a small group of guys all-time who has passed for 5k yards (and he threw for 4967 the next year too). I think he's got a chance for that but tbh more balance is better for us in terms of running the table in the playoffs.

So I hope he's got a more modest yardage total. Like 4k, with a ton of TDs and a low INT count. And a strong run game that balances things. The pieces are there for that too IMO. (y)

That would be ideal. Efficiency in the run game opening up some big hitters downfield which we know Stafford can hit.

Not expecting Rodgers 48 and 5 2020 season. That's not the type of QB Stafford is and we don't have that Oline the pack had last year.

If we get a 30+ TD 10 Int season and a strong playoff performance I would be ecstatic.

And there is that chance that Stafford is a perfect fit in Mcvay's system and has a career year. It could look something like 40 TD 10 int.

Stafford has never thrown less than 10 int in a 16 game season, so just being realistic here. He is sort of a gun slinger vs a real stingy QB like Rodgers. Again, it all comes down to playing the best ball in the post season.

I could see that. Especially if the WR group stays healthy in particular Kupp. Kupp is a badass. When he's healthy and in this offense it's a different deal for DCs. With 9 gunning that ball all over the field too yeah that's gonna be real nice to watch.

And Akers. I think he has to stay healthy too. I don't like our RB room if he misses significant time.

I see between 4,900 - 5,100 yds and about 35 TDs and 8 INTs this year as not being unreasonable. The main thing is he will bring consistency to the position. I don't see games where the offense will simply disappear as they have done in the past. Not bagging on Goff, but this is a different team on both sides of the ball. The opposition will have a hard time trying to keep up if Morris can keep the defense playing anywhere near where they were last year.

I expect the opposition to be playing catchup ball in every game including with Tampa. I think the Rams are perhaps the only team that they will have problems matching up with. Both the offense and defense have the talent to be top 5 units this year. IMO the Rams are the team to beat in the NFL because they simply are a complete team on offense and defense. If they have a weakness it might be STs but hopefully, DeCamillis can field a good unit.

4700+ yrds
68%+ completion pct
35+ TDs
12 INTs max

He's supposed to be better than Goff so expectations should reflect that. Also, don't forget there's an extra game this season.

2018 Goff:
4688 yrds
64.88%
32 TDs
12 INT
