I'd like to see us roll with a true thumping fullback. Guess it depends if Gurley likes to run behind one or if he likes a clean hole.

I expect to see Cunningham on the field a lot.

Did they expect Cook/Harkey/Kendricks to get injured?
Harkey was injured, Kendricks was injured the year before, and since we use 3 TE's for different things it does help to have extra depth.

I commented in another thread that it seems like we're missing a solid inline TE. Between our new commitment to a power running offense and a potential weakness with pass blocking at RT (sorry RobbyH, I call 'em like I see 'em), it seems like blocking specialist at TE would be in order. I kinda had it in my mind that Brodine could be that guy. Kendricks is a bit light for the inline TE role.

Begs the question, what's the plan at TE?
Kendricks might be light, but he blocks well. He blocked extremely well against Von Miller, much better than Barksdale.

Its sure shaping up that way. Harkey gets more reps probably too.

Seems like true FB would be a good add for a power O scheme.

I mentioned in another thread that Gurley used his FB to great effect at Georgia, I wonder if one of the RBs we picked up can take on this role?

We shall see. They seem content with Harkey.

I expected them to pick up a fullback.

Finding good UDFAs that can make the roster and contribute is a great accomplishment. I imagine that a GM/Coach would be very proud of those players too. I wonder if any of that emotion clouds judgements, because I have seen better fullbacks than Mike Harkey.

Screw it! Let's go crazy. Sign Steven Jackson back in the horns as a Goal Line/ 3rd&short FB.

Use him like the Bucs used to use Mike Alstott!
