It could, but I think that Sherman is going to recover. I'll take Sherman's injury concerns over Talib's issues.
I’m not a hater so if Sherman checks out physically I’m ok with acquiring him. I don’t see him as taking a #2 role and that’s where I see him with us getting Peters.

I fkn hope its the Rams. Adding him would give us the best secondary in the league as long as we tag or sign Joyner long term which i am sure we will.

Bringing in two new guys with questionable character that play the same position could create a bad dynamic. They could gravitate to each other as outsiders and if they don't mesh well with the team then it becomes and us and them situation. I don't think it would be the best outcome. Resigning Tru would be best. He has been on the team for several years and could help bring Peters into the fold. Otherwise sign a corner without character flags.

No thanks. Sherman is a jerk. I enjoy football more if I like the players on my favorite team. I can't stand Sherman's bragging and cockiness. It will be tough enough to ignore Peters' showmanship after big plays. Two together and I may need a barf bag at my side for every game.

That's fair. I just would rather have Sherman over Talib.

If we are comparing jerk status, man, this is a photo finish...too close to call. Sherman is more calculated, and intelligent, IMO.

Talib is a jerk on and off the field. Sherman, say what you will about what he does on the field, isn't a jerk off the field. Just my honest opinion.

I agree on that point, and I know, from year's of being in the same forum, how much that means to you. I'd take Sherm, over Talib, although I hate...HATE, the Shecocks.

Sherman just plays on one side right? like Peters. Could work out.
I think they both switch sides but I’m talking about taking on the other team’s best receiver. It’s a pride thing and I don’t think either one would want to be considered a team’s #2 corner. I could be all wet on this. Just throwing it out there.

Look and see what your thoughts were on acquiring Peters. Was your head screwed on right?

I thought it was great and the possibility was there.

Had Talib stayed healthy and Peters not injured his ankle, that may have been true.

I was wrong about the scheme fit. The more I learned about Wade's D (I focused more on the front 7, initially), the more I realized Peters wasn't a scheme fit.

I'm still glad we got him, he acquitted himself well. He didn't hold out. He played hurt. He took ownership of his poor play. He showed up in big moments. I dunno what more you ask of a guy.

I would do it all over again, but yeah, Ramsey's an upgrade. Big one.

We made the same mistake the Eagles did when signing Namdi Asumgha (I dont feel like looking up the spelling). We tried to convert a zone guy to man. I dont think our office will make the same mistake. Get the guys that fit your scheme.

Still, Peters is better than Hatfield on Thielen one on one ;)

Have Ram receivers started practicing double moves yet in prep for the Ravens game?
You know Peters is gonna want 3 pics.....hopefully gets greedy and burned and we don’t have another Suh ending to that game.
