Its baseball. The worst team is capable of beating the best team on occasion. A losing streak at some point is inevitable. Is it now? Or later. We'll see. I'm more concerned about Sasaki. The poor spring performance. He's not showing signs of snapping out of it. With Snell out it looks like they have no choice but to try and get him to work it out. Unless Roberts wants to play a bullpen game every 5th day.
Just biding time for Snell, Ryan, Stone.....

I have a hard time getting too excited or too nervous this time of year. The Dodgers are pretty deep and will be fine.
Yeah, its a long season with a lot of games. Ups and downs are gonna happen to everyone. The Dodgers are built for October. They're good enough to win in the regular season and they proved home field doesn't mean much.

Its nice to have depth when the inevitable injuries happen. Diaz should be ready after the all star game. As long as they win the division and get healthy at the end, I'm fine with that. I didn't like the talk of 120 wins last season. At least we're not hearing it this year. Just get in and its a new season.

I’m loving Muncy’s swing right now.
He use to swing out of his shoes every swing.
It was either a HR or a SO.
He has slowed his swing down a bit. Hes more controlled and still has more than enough power the way he’s turning on the ball.
I hope he stays with it.

Muncy is possibly my favorite Dodger right now. He definitely is my son's. He's also a pretty damn good 3rd baseman. He sure is an enigma though. He followed his 3 home run game with 7 strike outs in 2 games. It seems so odd that someone who has such a great eye for balls and strikes and draws walks as much as he does, also strikes out a third of the times he stands in the box. He definitely seems to be feeling it right now. Imagine if he could turn some of those Ks into contact. Maybe it's just that my son and I want him to hit everything.

Every year it seems I hear people wanting to trade him away. This year there were rumors that we were going to bring in that Japanese slugging 3rd baseman. I sure hope they keep Muncy. IMO, he's really easy to route for. And it doesn't hurt that he seems to have a dad bod. :laugh4:

Who doesn’t love athletes that don’t look athletic!

Watch his swing closely tonight.
In Colorado, his swing was noticeably slower and smoother.
I’m praying he maintains that same swing speed.

Muncy will strike out a fair amount of times. Which is strange because he's disciplined and doesn't swing at pitches out of the strike zone very often. He's usually going to have a higher on base percentage compared to his batting average. But his value is those home runs.
