I just want to apologize for everything, especially yeast infections, wandering uterus syndrome, and the ever lurking PMSYou're just a Martz apologist.
I'm nitpicking here Les, but this is very debatable. Warner was known for his quick release and accuracy....but go back and watch Marc the Bulger's throws. They were both extremely quick in terms of DNA rifle and release. I actually think Bulger might have been a little quicker.A couple of you guys have mentioned he was lucky to get out because of the beatings Bulger took and I will say this about that point.
Warner wouldn't have taken all of those sacks, he was better in the pocket than Bulger. He also got rid of the ball faster and made faster decisions which would have reduced the hits. Also.....I saw most of his games in AZ. The OL the Cardinals had at the time wasn't really any better and Warner was taking plenty of hits. Lastly I don't think there are many guys who played QB that were tougher than Warner, in his era maybe McNair is the only guy I'd say was tougher but that's not completely fair because McNair might be the toughest guy ever under center.
Right.
Like I put in my post.
Could be the NFL network dictating where he'll go.

Yes that's right Pissed at Martz Syndrome: Sufferers symptoms can but don't have to be ,selective memory, acid reflux, hives, speed reading two lines of posts then writing war and peace rebuttals of things not said , dry mouth, rectal bleeding, stained underwear and a general feeling that the past will change if it's rehashed enough times.
I have other things I want to apologize for but ,I'm out of time on the computer and must make some phone calls to apologize for not calling sooner.
First off I am a Warner lover through and through. With that being said, probably the best thing that happened to Warner was being pushed out of St. Louis. If Warner had stuck around and had to endure the beating that Bulger took there would be no storybook ending for Warner.
Early in his career, Bulger's quick release was touted as one of the big positives about the guy. It didn't help him. The Rams line was THAT bad.
Even Faulk pointed out once that Warner would have really suffered with our OL at the time.
But that debate is called the "endless" debate for a reason.
We may not know for sure if the outcome would have been different, but I do point to the idea that he lost two other starting jobs after he left the Rams (young draft choices or not, he could have played well enough to force the teams to keep him. He didn't.) and that he really didn't return to being Kurt until so much longer later that there is simply no way the Rams could have kept him for that long on his current contract.while he may have had a quicker release, he didn't necessarily make quicker decisions which was kurt's forte. if the rams would have just helped him regain his mojo instead of dumping him like a bad habit after the giants game we don't know what the outcome would have been.
.
And FWIW until he had guys like Fitz and Bolden to throw to.We may not know for sure if the outcome would have been different, but I do point to the idea that he lost two other starting jobs after he left the Rams (young draft choices or not, he could have played well enough to force the teams to keep him.
