Not sure if anyone else caught this on the Dan Patrick show this morning but Kurt Warner was on and Dan asked him who he identified more with. Warner pretty quickly and definitely said the Cardinals over the Rams. It seemed obvious whenever he talked about both teams but guess this makes it official.

yeah, I'm so over Kurt Warner right now. He's dead to me as a Ram, and apparently he likes it that way. I am pleased that whenever they show his greatness in a Super Bowl victory, he's wearing a Rams uniform

Rams fans were pretty damn eager to run him out of town when he hit the rough patch, much like a lot of them are with Goff right now.

It's not all on Kurt.
However Goff hasn't even been a 1/4 of what Kurt was before year 3 when he started having his rough spots.

Yeah-That 2002 Rams team had some strong similarities to this years team. Coming off a SB loss to the Patriots. Brilliant offensive coach comes crashing back down to earth. Pro Bowl QB struggles with turnovers. Offensive Line issues. Leaky secondary in a lot of games. Being figured out by tough defenses. Kurt was gone after this season. I dont blame him for hating the Rams for turning their backs on him. That team was also 5-5 after 10 games that year. If the Rams lose on Sunday guess what they will also be 5-5.

Kurt's best years with the Rams were his age-28 through 30 seasons. Those years are typically when pocket passers enter their prime. Goff is still years away from that. It's not an apples to apples comparison.

Can we please just keep the hysterical venom concentrated toward McVay, Gurley, Ramsey, Goff, Snead, Kromer, and Havenstein ?

Let’s leave Warner out of our crucifixion party, I mean there only so much mindless rage to go around

Hey - you’re the one bashed the Disney channel.
Just sayin’....:ROFLMAO:

No venom, but I am tired of hoping he'll show up with Super Bowl 34 alumni at Rams events. I know that he is welcome to the Rams offices, like Marshall Faulk is....and Big O, and Torry Holt, and that 49er, Isaac Bruce. I used to look for any caring about the Rams in retirement and what the team had in 1999-2001, on his part. Nothing.

I got tired of hoping and now he's just dead like stats from a game 18 years ago.

Somebody steal your lunch money?

I bet if he smoked a bowl and really pondered the Ram years. He would realize his grudge isn't actually with the Rams but more the dummies who were in charge at the time and they are all long gone now. Then maybe he could show a little love for what he damn well knows is the best team he was ever on.

Regardless we are talking Kurt Warner’s career compared to a number pick in the draft getting paid 100+ million.

the poster quoted talking about rough patch vs good play. Well before Goffs rough patch the only thing he really accomplished was going to the SB.

your right there is no comparison and it’s understandable people want to run him off.

and yet you clicked on it...ok

Just wanted to point it out, folks are entitled to their opinions, rosy or resentful. I personally don't have any issue with him identifying as a Cardinal considering Martz got him killed and then cut him to be in a New York orphanage to groom Eli
