Per JT in Fisher interview. Never seen this before where our fourth string QB goes somewhere else and starts within a week or so. Granted he knows their system, but that's mind blowing! :eek:o_O

Happen back in 2011 when the Rams claimed Kellen Clemens off waivers from the Houston Texans on Wednesday and started him on Sunday that's how bad Tom Brandstater was after the injuries to Bradford and A.J. Feeley who the Rams kept over Thad Lewis who will be the back-up to Keenum on Sunday.

I wonder how many teams aren't playing with their #1QB right now. Seems like quite a few. Has anyone other than the Cards survived that in good shape?

A period in time in which I appear to have acute voluntary amnesia.

Does a team have to "allow" someone to be taken off of their practice squad? Or can practice squad players just up and leave any time they want?

Thanks for the explanation. So having someone on your practice squad gives you no ability to stop them from signing elsewhere. Got it. That's kinda weird actually. Thanks.

The team signing them has to put them on their 53 man roster so if you actually covet the player in the first place you wouldn't put him on the practice squad.

And he got his first ever win as a NFL starting QB.
