I actually thought he was pretty cool as well.

It's always good to see a face and hear a voice - prevents a lit of misunderstandings.

Well, some fans on JT's chat have hoped for injuries to Gurley and others, and JT never corrected them...So he omitted the truth somewhat...

I put JT in the category of "spineless chameleon" here. He was a guest of local LA reporters and audiences, not his bitter St. Louis pals that write spiteful and vengeful manifestos to his Q &A's.

He seems to take on the attitude of his audience. Which is why many of us don't put much value in his opinions.

He still got his digs in, though. He questioned the depth of this team. I think it is deeper than last year. He questioned whether the quarterback play is improved over last year. Really? It has to, by default. Receiver play will be better. Tight end play. OLine growth. Etc. Such a reluctance to show any optimism about this team. Then you have the local people that don't seem to know how to dig deep.

Some reports are good from carry over reporters. Dani is good (Myles Simmons is getting better) but they are employed by the team.

JT should just go back quietly and do some Blues and Cardinals stories. Really sad.

Think you're a bit harsh ( I should talk:cautious:) - he covered 431 Rams games.
As much as he may have tried to be objective, I'm certain he still has feelings for the team.
Agree about the depth comment and QB position - makes no sense.

The only faces I hate more are Bernies and that shit bag old GM who shall not be named!

He's talking about the losing of a couple of veterans on the defense - Janoris Jenkins, Rodney McLeod, Chris Long, James Lauranaitis. That's a lot of games and talent gone in one year. Offensively - quarterback can't be worse than it has been the last few years. He's not that high on Goff and that's fair. As much as I want him to be Aaron Rodgers, you can see why people are saying he's Alex Smith or Kirk Cousins - someone like that. The last three years or so the Rams have been nearly, ever so close to the cusp of almost reaching the playoffs but every year something didn't go right. Bradford gets hurt twice in a row then traded - so we're stuck with mediocrity at QB - no wide receivers, a shuffle on the offensive line every year because Saffold is made of glass - that sort of stuff.

They're trying to fix it now - but its kind of a middle of a cycle period with some young guys - Goff, Gurley and Donald to build around - but we need another two really strong, deep drafts to fill out this roster and start reaching post-season football regularly - by which time Goff, Gurley and Donald should be just about getting going!
