Thanks for pointing out the Proven Performance Escalator, I didn't know that was a thing. Add John Johnson and Samson Ebukam to the PPE list as well. I looked up their snaps and they both will likely qualify for the bump in 2020 salary.

It looks bad because it is bad. When a wr is that open deep and there's no pressure on the qb he should definitely be taking a look at the deep guy.

Which player will be the knee jerk fan punching bag next week?

Open up the sportsbook. @flv
I'll lay good ROD dollars on the guy who
a) makes a lot of money
b) drops a pass

Reactions: Kevin and Ramlock
This manufactured issue of a players salary versus contribution was been applied first to Gurley, then Goff, and now Cooks.

As soon as Cooks has a great game it’ll be some other highly paid Ram who will then be labelled a “problem” that will spawn thread upon thread of demands they be traded, cut, or forced into retirement.

It’s only a problem until they are performing up to your unmeasurable standards

I put in bold print your own words, what the problem with Cooks is.
We're all waiting for great games. They're not happening. :(

Yeah and...........
dude is having a bad year.
Kupp was on fire early now he isn’t getting targets - are you waiting for him to come back strong or is the waiting exclusively for Cooks?

I like Cooks very much as a person.
I also think he is above average talented and fast.
I don't think he is worth the pay he's getting for the style of our offense.
It's just that simple. I don't hate him. I like him.

Nobody said you hated the guy - at least not me

But isn’t he in the same boat as Kupp right now? Where is the concern for Kupp. Dude is gonna get paid more than Cooks here soon, and when he doesn’t get targets I am sure we’ll have the same debate then.

Cooks contract/status will be dealt with this off-season. As for THIS SEASON he has a few more games to play his role. Let’s hope for the best

Agreed. I hope he lights it up with at least 4 TDs over the next 3 games. I'd be happy for him and the Rams.

I got a hunch Cooks may play a role today

That would be awesome. If Cooks breaks out, that just puts that much more pressure on future opponents... we legit have FIVE weapons now and that doesn't include Everett
