Seems like Sam would be better off health-wise to retire. He won't get a starting job so why bother being a backup. He has bank and IIRC a nice wife.
Wish him the best. He just had some unlucky bad knee injuries with the Rams.

Andrew Luck also dealt with endless injuries and led to his choice in retirement.

True, but that was because the Colts never invested enough in their offensive line to protect him. GM Chris Ballard came too late of Luck, but you can never go wrong investing in your offensive line, however, I have always been biased when it comes to the OL.

I just liked to watch Sam throw the ball, especially before he became checkdown king. Some guys the ball just explodes out of their hand, seemingly without much effort. For a while Sam was that guy.
His contract was what it was but somehow he gets blamed for doing what anybody would do, take the money, now Goff is getting the same treatment, any criticism starts with his contract, which is bs in my opinion. As if he can overcome the oline and running game woes just because he’s the highest paid.

Teams have finally learned. Man that took a long time to sink in around the league didn't it.

And the rams did for Bradford?

He had no oline and no wrs. Plus his coaches were spags and Fisher. What chance did he have?

.

Bradford...

Remember how long certain fans hung on to hope with him? Like watching a guy not break up with a girl, even though she is repeatedly unfaithful.

He may have hurt his back hauling all of that Rams/Viking/Cardinal loot around his mansion.

It's also possible that tripped over his shadow and blew out another knee.

@-X- be hatin him some me right about now, lolz.

P. S. I still have two Bradford jerseys that are free to anyone that wants them!!!
I have a signed jersey of his. Don’t know whether to burn it or keep it?

Don't know I have ever felt that badly about any Rams player former or active. Wait check that forgot about Jason Sehorn. Carry on.

Well, if you're going to debate Bradford vs Luck, there is no debate. Bradford did not have the greatest support in St. Louis, but he went on to other cities and his career was checkered at best. Overall, durability was an issue, however, agreed with the Rams Bradford did have the best support, but that day is long gone.
