I haven't seen or heard anyone say they don't think Aaron's not coming back. Its mostly they believe he's coming back. If he really is coming back I think he wants to wait till camp ends. Training camp is the one part of the game he isn't fond of. As fans we are impatient. We wanna know now if he's coming back. I check this thread every day to see if there's any news on that.

I think AD just hates when any man from any other team tries to put hands on him which is why you get situations like ripping someone's helmet off and throwing it
... If I remember right he had an interview about that situation before and pretty much just said he's mean like that because he's alpha male.

Havenstein said a while back he didn’t think AD would come back for a TC, because he hated them. I think that’s winning out over the “AD only does things 100%” narrative.

Yeah AD also mentioned in his last interview with his wife he hated TC and never looked forward to it. He also said he didn't want to just come back for the playoffs while his teammates worked hard all season. So sometime after TC and before midseason is my prediction IF he comes back. And I don't think he'll come back so I'm not holding my hopes up.
Maybe he starts out on the PUP list, and misses the first month. That keeps a roster spot open for those first 4 games for a young player and then Donald takes the spot of an injured player at that point, because someone always goes doen in that first month. That also keeps Donald fresh for the the entire season and eases him into the lineup while he gets up to speed in practice.
I don't see AD skipping all of TC. If he comes back, he probably wants a little TC to get his body into football shape.
I think, believe it or not, that AD is being pretty sincere in his process.
He had VERY high standards for his play, and I doubt that has changed.
If he feels he would be going out there, taking someone else's job, and would look mediocre - especially when beside Garrett - I think he legitimately says no to coming back.
And if that's the case (that he is basing his decision on whether he can still be that impact player), then we should be happy no matter what the answer ultimately is. He either says yes, and we get AD back - the good AD - or he passes and we're ok with that we have on the field.

Did I miss something? Sure seems like the opposite - and he is coming back. I’m confused why you would think this? What exactly causing you to think this. Maybe I missed some new tea leaves.
Just a gut feeling. I think a lot of people are putting the cart before the horse. Hope I am wrong, probably I am wrong. I just have a feeling Donald will decide to stay retired.
I had the same thoughts, until that video and information about AD working out on the Rams practice field. Now I think all this "testing his body", "determining if he wants to play", etc. etc. is nothing more than a smoke screen. A way to keep him from counting against the top 51; to keep him out of the rigors of camp; to keep it a concern/wonder/worry in the land of NFC West opponents. If loving that idea is wrong, I don't wanna be right!!
