Is there a time frame that a player needs to officially come out of retirement? I seem to recall where there was a deadline that a player needed to "unretire" to be eligible?

Quentin Lake posted this on his Instagram story…
Donald could look at it as this time he is now in the Vonn Miller role. There were reports that Miller was instrumental in getting Donald to become a more vocal leader and that contributed to Dinald really stepping it up in the playoffs ftom a leadership perspective. Maybe he can help Garrett in a similar fashion. So hoping he comes back.

well, I'll say it's been fun the last few days. I think Donald is going to gauge how bad he wants it. he knows how to prepare. he knows what it takes and he wants to find out if he can actually do it. he doesn't have to start. he can go in as he is ready to and won't always have to face double and triple teams with the rest of the wrecking crew we have on the d-line. (Although I can see a sack fest if they do.) if its salary cap manageable an aging Donald would be a hell of a lot of fun for Shula, McVay and Donald to scheme up his usage. Let's see what his body and his football mind tells him while we wait for camp. Go Rams.

OMG! Can this thread beat the "AD Hold-Out" thread in number of pages? That's the answer that my heart really wants to know.
That, and, did my ex-wife sleep with my brother that weekend I was away?

The possibility increased with more videos about an AD's comeback as the day went on.

He comes back sometime around midseason, rested and in a game or two, could be out on the field. He got tired of double and triple. Garrett will get most of that. I'm leaning toward a comeback. No doubt he will have a big impact on games.

Just have to figure out how to pay him 40 million
It may be premature to ponder but I would be curious on the financial considerations of a contract. Reasonable salary with heavy incentive bonuses for performance and/or playing time?

So if AD came back, which of our DLs would likely lose the most playing time?

Probably Fiske, I would also say our Dline rotation would be fucking insane if AD came back. I would also assume AD would be on a pitch count every game if he were to play during the regular season. Gotta keep him fresh.
