Not to be a party pooper but they've been teasing the alternate/throwback uniforms and it's been widely speculated that the season ticket holder event was where they'd reveal them. Not to say they couldn't do both but I'd bet money on uniforms at this point. Now they've got a great opportunity (if they have two new uniforms) is to have the three announced players come out in one and then when you think that's it suddenly they have AD run out in the second lol.

And Purdy, And Brissett, and Hurts, and Nix, and Allen, and Mahomes, and Love, and Prescott, and Shough, and Herbert, and Cousins, and Mayfield, and Daniels and that punk-ass Dart. And those are just the QBs - what about the interior O linemen? And all the OCs? The ripple effect of a move like this is beyond anything we've seen in football in - well, I was going to say many years, but maybe ever.

Yes, AD has been around the Rams facility before, but most of what we've seen since retirement has been workouts at his own gym. The TMZ footage appears to show him on the Rams practice field in gear that's more consistent with field work, and to me that's different than simply using the team gym.

Then there's Myles Garrett posting AD's jersey. Pro athletes are usually intentional with what they share, so I'm getting old Jalen Ramsey vibes from when he'd post little hints before a move.

My opinion is that the Rams and AD are doing a thorough diagnostic check to see if he can still perform at the level he demands of himself while quietly working through what a return could look like. The continued silence is what keeps me optimistic.

If this happens, this season has the potential to be truly epic. I'd love to see this defense line up against Caleb Williams and Patrick Mahomes. It might be the closest thing to Shark Week, except the quarterbacks are the ones being hunted.

Thing is, say the Rams can get this defense to be on the level of the 85 Bears and 2000 Ravens. Neither of those teams had a offense like the Rams do. Not even close.
The Rams might set the record for average win margin. Sacks, record for most opposing QBs in the fetal position.
This is going to be good.
