Raheem is a legit HC talent with a great mind and no doubt next year he will get his chance. This is a great insight into the man as a person!

Being under Monte Kiffin and Mike Tomlin must have been some masters degree shit for young QC Coach Morris. :laugh3:

But yeah I love interviews where they talk about the guys who they learned from and go into their philosophies. Great vid.

I didn't like the slow adjustments early in the year and I'm not a fan of wasting 3 hall of farmers in a soft zone scheme, but when I saw the first play dialed up against the niners in week 18, I was very happy.

Finally a 6 man front in an obvious sell out to stop the fucking run game that had killed us for far too long.

I will be happy if he stays, which I believe is the case.

Snead/McVay continue to build the perfect beast with their roster. But McVay is starting to build the perfect beast with his coaching staff. Only a couple players away from the perfect beast. We’ll have to wait and see how close with the coaching staff but it sounds and looks good.

I think the only reason he doesn't have a HC job is because people were calling for his firing before week 8 of the season. Then the defense started getting hot. I think if the Rams continue success on defense he'll be gone after next season.

I was in the fire Morris club mid season, but he proved me wrong. Only because he changed his scheme, and stopped playing prevent most of the time.

If he hadn't adjusted he would have been, I have no doubt. But when he decided to trust the talent on the team and turned the dogs loose it was a whole different defense. I have no doubt he will continue to play his guys that way. NFL be warned the Rams have reloaded and will be in the hunt in 2022.

It was clear from what he said on the podcast and how he played his defense, he definitely wasn't used to having this kind of defensive roster to work with. Oh yeah, that last Niner game he stole their souls. As he said he began to trust the guys he had to make the plays. He talked about how Von and Floyd would adjust themselves and it was when he reached that point was when the dogs were off the chain. He knows now and this will be his final season with the Rams because when they lift that Lombardi for the second consecutive year both Coen and Raheem will be gone to their own teams.

At this point, Sean can hire any coach he wants. Like the players, LA has become the premier destination for coaches to punch their tickets on their resumes.

Raheem grew into his position last year. He and the Rams are better for it. I have no problem with him this year. Kudos to Raheem for understanding he needed to evolve and grow with his guys.

Don’t know about all that ? I do believe he adjusted, but still have not heard the interview which could change my view point a little.

I just know how the season started & his relationship with Mcvay. If the he would have is FIRED? That to me has always been & will be CRAZY talk.

Funny how much Raheem Morris got disrespected here & thought it got out of hand & uncalled for.Think Ineven got banned for at least 24hours for name calling or something a long those lines. Either way I’m thankful.

Like every defense in the league they always start out behind the offenses. This has been a thing forever. As the season goes on talented defenses get better and better barring major injuries. It's why calling for coaches to get fired the first month of the season is so ridiculous. It happened to Staley and it happened to Morris. It did take Morris a bit more time to get comfortable and fit the pieces correctly. I'm really looking forward to a second year in a row with pieces like Morris and Stafford who will only start off faster than they did last year.

Exactly! The best sign of a good coach is one who learns and adapts. Offenses are constantly changing and evolving and defensive coaches are always at a disadvantage as they are the ones who have to change after the season starts.

I was struck how unwilling he seemed to be to jump on the whole No-black-coaches-'cuz-Racism thing despite being pushed on it multiple times by Clark and Taylor.

I was more patient with Raheem than some guys, but I was complaining about the D at one point in the reg season.

The guy I wanted the Rams to fire was the ST coach. But late in the Viking game I began rethinking that. Interesting what a nice PR TD can do to sway that thought.

Mcvay & Raheem we’re dawgs back then. He’s like his best friend.Guarantee will be in his wedding. Mcvay just stated he is happy at Raheem Morris’s expense.
Says he is one of the best coach in the world.

LMAO - at all The Rams Fans that doubted him. CLASS-ACT

Raheem challenged his players. He asked a lot from them. That is his style of coaching. You learn to trust & develop players.

Ernest Jones is the guy Raheem Morris will help make the best for his career.
He is set up so sweet for success.
