Everyone hated the Tutu signing but it was done to give McVay as many options as possible. The offense by necessity went to a lot of heavy 3 TE looks, but had the circumstances been just a little different McVay might have used 4 WR's a lot and Tutu would have had a bigger role. Just didn't go that way. I think he has a big year with the Fish.

No, we traded him for Creed

Say what you will about Tutu but IMHO he was a hell of a lot better than Tavon.
No argument there. I really liked Tutu. If only he were a bit taller. Tutu is a legit WR.
Tavian ? Not so much.
Tutu may do well with a mobile QB. One capable of extending plays ,creating
more improvisational moments. I can see Tutu doing well in those short, open field catch and runs.

Maybe he will see more looks than he got with the Rams , who last year evolved into
the 13 personnel far more often than initionally anticapated.
I liked Tutu. Just not as a second rd pick. (As if I could do better...Not)
Hoping he does well.

Tutu is probably a legit 1000 yard kind of WR, the problem was he adds nothing to the run game, over the middle of the field, or after the catch when he gets knocked over by a light breeze. But as a route runner with hands he was a legit deep threat, we just didn't have much of a use for him with Puka as the primary target and a pass game focused on efficiency and intermediate routes between the numbers. Remind me why this is a thread again, though?
