I'm just not that arrogant yet in my life where I think everything thing I say is so far above anyone else.... Especially on a football forum where everyone's opinions count....... even if they're not as well thought out as mine:dizzy:

Yes. Otherwise I’d rather blow the pick on another position and let stafford ride it out.

Backups can be had anywhere no need to waste a pick on it.

Well IMO QB a lone Miami’s going to be a better team in 2025.

Not a Fan,but Murray in Minnesota is another example.The player who The Rams might look at next season is the niners backup QB. He has a quick release & keeps getting more experience.Didn’t he beat The Rams at SOFI in 2025?

To get back to the subject; anyone else have a feeling that we are not signing our back up QB until after the draft because we may have eyes for one Ty Simpson as our back up? Provided he is taken in the 1st, he's not going to be a cheap back up necessarily. Thus, not spending several million on a current back up makes sense. Still think you have zero to lose by signing Cousins at vet minimum as a fall back or a solid option.

I think we have to solidify our backup QB situation before the draft. We get JimmyG on board, the draft gives us good choices at WR.

I would hate to have to get a QB with our 13th pick

I am all for resigning Jimmy G (2021 me thinks I'm a big pussy and threw up in his mouth a little for saying that)
and yes, focus on best talent/WR/ILB for #13, second and third rounds.

I certainly agree. IF they are set on Simpson (which I trust their eval on him) I'd hope and pray we at least move back a bit to get more dart throws. There are some things we cannot leave draft weekend without, or we shouldn't rather.
