Think what the OP is trying to say is JJ is a much better tackler this year because instead if trying to make that big hit and potentialy missing the tackle like he was last year, he is more consistent in wrapping up the carrier this year.

JJ did miss allot of open field tackles last year by trying to.lay the wood instead of stopping the runner
 
No complaints from me on our starting corners so far this season. JJ has been quiet in coverage(which is good)...and Gaines has been a rookie bargain.
