Shanny had a lead so he played not to lose after they went up by 10, so of course he left the door open for the Rams to come back, in much the same way the Rams have done in some of their losses. In the NFL coaches need to have a killer instinct. You get your opponent down you bury him, you don't allow him to hang around. No you toss them in the grave and you start shoveling the dirt on top and keep shoveling until it's covered then you back the concrete truck up and you finish it.

Morris needs to remember that because I believe the Rams will jump out to a lead in the Super Bowl, and Morris' instinct will play not to lose. My problem with Morris is he lacks a killer instinct. That's why he's emphatic about not caring about stats.

The 49ers kept waiting for Stafford to self-destruct. When he handed the game to them they literally dropped the ball. That's what happens when you play for your opposition to make a mistake. All too often it's you that makes the mistake.

Am I glad the Rams won? I'm ecstatic but I'm not blind to how close it came to being a loss. The 49ers lost that game as much as the Rams won it. The 49ers believed their own shit about being the better team. They didn't study the film to see why they won in the previous games.

I don't care because the ball bounced the whiner's way more than enough times. Crapollo escaped just enough to avoid sacks and had a few INTs dropped. I believed there was no way AD and the defense was going to let crapollo drove the balls down the field against the Rams with the super bowl ticket at stake after the weel 18 melt down by the defense.

while i agree teams/coaches do tend to get too conservative and should just go for the kill shot more, i dont think that was the case here. the niners really struggled to move the ball all game for the most part. their 3 scoring drive were ball at midfield turned into fg, a 44yard td off wr screen, and one solid drive for the kittle td. dont really think they had the ability to just enforce their will and get that kill shot this game quite like the rams did in week 18

amen.

whiners couldn't do shit. the rams stopped the run so they kept needing jimmy g to convert 3rd downs through the air.

how often can he do that? he may get some but he can't do it consistently.

Morris did a great job in shutting down the whiners running game. It forced them to throw the ball. Jimmy Dickpole made some throws but when the Rams finally got real pressure, he folded like cheap suit. LOL

LMFAO - OMG - you say Morris doesn’t like stats & say that’s why he doesn’t like stats with NO STATS!!

So does this mean your leading The Raheem Morris Club ? My stats think your #1 here.

Then last week Sean Mcvay was not conservative against Tom Brady & Tampa Bay.Teams know in his career he’s coming.Shanahan was actually to aggressive in that SuperBowl loss.

David Wells made a nice catch & Old Blues Eyes of Course made the hit in the end zone.

BTW - maybe we both need to be corrected because Howard didn’t take it to the ???? Whose House!!
