I think they have a 75% chance. The 25% is if injuries occur.
So, without significant injuries, the Rams are guaranteed to win-it-all?

They could/should of have made it the last two years but didn't.
I agree.

That's why those two losses were so painful and significant. It's difficult to win a Lombardi.

It's difficult to win a Lombardi.
It's easy to measure your teams chances, to a certain degree, by who they acquire and who they lose in the off season. Garrett/Reeder :laugh4:But what other "good" teams gain or lose, plays into it too. So we could go down the list (on paper). Did Seattle improve? New England? And with a first place schedule, did their 2026 season become a little more difficult? Philly? Denver? Kansas City? Detroit? Etc.

I think any Rams' fan expecting an easy and smooth ride to the Lombardi in 2026 is setting themsleves-up for confusion, pain and disappointment.

I see it as a tough, bumpy and challenging ride but also exciting, with a real chance to win-it-all because the Rams have the most talented combination of players and coaches giving them the Best Chance of 32 teams.

HOWEVER, anything above a 10% chance (at This Tme) to win the Super Bowl, is very high. I believe the Rams have the best chance to win-it-all ... i.e., the highest % ... I just see it as somewhere between 12%-and-15%.

I also believe the Journey is half the fun. I'm excited and hopeful.

Well, the Dodgers have kind of bought championships since there is no cap and they spend a ridiculous amount compared to other teams when you take into account the deferral loophole they are using.
PHILLY HOMER!

Nah. Hey, look at the Brewers. They are a very well run organization with a $135M payroll. They are at a major disadvantage when going against the Dodgers, who probably pay their guys 4 times that when you factor in deferred contracts etc...

So yeah, there will always be bad organizations and great organizations. So when it comes down to the 5 or 6 really good organizations and 2 of those organizations can spend 3 times what the others can, its a bobo title.

A cap is not going to make everybody even. Look at the NFL. Arizona sucks. The Jets suck. Cleveland sucks. So does Tennessee. And some have for a very long time. Evening the money is not going to even the scouting ability. Or development ability. Or the luck. Caps are designed to help the smaller market teams and as much as that, they make it more difficult for the larger market teams. A cap is not going to make the Dodgers a shitty team but it may keep them from being an all star team.

ANY Football fan in the History of Time (or at least in the Super Bowl era) that thinks before a season that their team will have an "easy and smooth ride" to a Lombardi is nothing more than a casual fan who knows very little about this sport.

That goes for Pats fans in the Brady era. Chiefs fans in the Mahomes era. And Rams fans in 2026.

Nah ... we got some great fans here on ROD ... and some are super excited and extremely optimistic.
They are much more than 'casual fans'. I am just trying to temper their expectations.

Two things kept the Rams from running the table last year all the way to Lombardi. 1) Atrocious defensive pass coverage. Lirtslly middle schoolers against varsity high schoolers. 2) Not enough closure on their pass rush. Pressure was ok but the finish just wasn’t there.
They’ve addressed both issues this off-season so barring injury it’s arguably the best Rams roster ever.

I dont think I said that. In fact I said there will always be good & bad organizations.

However, those teams that do a great job, it sucks that they may have to up against an equally good organization that can outspend them 4-1.

You can add special teams to the list and "awareness"....pick up the damn ball, it could be worth 2 points!

I'm not really saying we dont have great Rams fans here. I'm saying that a smooth and easy ride to a Lombardi does not EX-IST, and anyone thinking so is not giving proper respect to the SPORT.

There are examples in OTHER sports, where fans could expect a rather "smooth and easy" route to a Title.

Basketball:

Fans of the 1992, 1993, 1997, 1998 Chicago Bulls

Fans of the 2001, 2002 Los Angeles Lakers.

Not even gonna bring up the 1959-1966 8 consecutive Titles Boston Celtics.

Hockey:

Montreal Canadiens fans, 1977-1979

New York Islanders fans, 1981-1983

Edmonton Oilers fans, 1985, 1988

Baseball:

New York Yankees fans: any Season between 1936 and 1964 (1 round, ONE! of Playoffs)

Sadly (happily), in the sport of Professional Football, the "foregone conclusion" type of pre-determined Champion does NOT exist.

The 2026 Rams are gonna have to grind and grind and grind, and avoid catastrophic injuries, and get a little luck even ( think: Jaquiski Tartt drop) to get that coveted Title, and thats WITH Aaron Donald.

Yes, anyone under the assumption that the Rams have a free and easy, smooth ride to a Championship, I call "deficient" in NFL knowledge. I stand by that.

Now, if and when the Rams DO win a Championship it will be GLORIOUS to those of us who KNOW how hard it is to do.

I gotta say one thing I hate about the NFL is it's always the same organizations shitting on the highest picks. Looking at the Browns up high for example every year is beyond old. The NFL would do well to implement a lottery system that would shake that up. Take all non-playoff teams and give them even odds that slightly favor the worst teams but which leave room for surprises. And I'd also have a way of compensating for teams that previously picked top 3, where they get decreased odds the following year.

Most are not 'deficient' or 'casual fans' ... they are true, smart fans ... just a little over-stimulated right now.

And YOU better remember pendejo ...
