Kraft ushered in the new era of insane TV contracts. The internet and streaming services created the rest.Just saw the NFL awarded Netflix the Christmas Day games. Thanks Roger. In order to compensate his $50+m annual salary you now have to pay $70 a month for local broadcasting to receive in market games and Monday Night football. $16 a month for Amazon for Thursday night games. $389 for YouTube Sunday Ticket, and now additional money for Christmas day games if you dont already have Netflix. Goodell's personal greed, outrageous contracts (especially QBs) are making it difficult to afford all the programming if you're a pro football junkie. Is it just me or is anyone else getting tired of being fucked as fans as corporate greed takes over?
Try Vettix.org for some nearly free tickets to a lot of events. Veterans only have to verify on their site and you only pay a processing fee. I’ve paid $16 for as many as four tickets to some events. I’ve seen NFL games available on their site before. Only catch is if you get the tickets, you must use them or get banned from the site for a time. And you cannot resell the tickets. They were donated for Vets. Not always the best seats but I’ve gotten lower bowl seats for UFC bouts, minor league hockey playoff seats at the blue line, etc.Goodell has a new contract that calls for $200m over 3 years. Greed by everyone and the fans get fucked. I'm just venting about the expense of having to pay outrageous prices so a few can make millions. I am retired Air Force (enlisted), live on a fixed income, been a lifelong NFL fan, and can't even fathom going to an actual game in person anymore. Like I said, just venting.
Amen brotherI stream games online for free. Been watching them this way for years.
Yeah, Av, same here, but add another decade..(Plus…I’m old. I watched football for nearly 2 decades before 1994.)

Owner apologist!GODell is just doing the job that the NFL owners hired him to do... and he is performing at an extremely high level.
Big businesses are in it to make big profits... The NFL is winning at business.
Goodell is a POS. Football makes a killing but they nickle and dime everyone they can. That shit is gonna bite them in the ass if they keep it up.Just saw the NFL awarded Netflix the Christmas Day games. Thanks Roger. Agree but he's still a huge huge piece of shitHis job is to make the nfl money. Like him or not he does that very well.
No it's the owners and players as well. Unfortunately most will always point at the top of the food chain title wise.So the guy who 32 franchises pay to make them and all the players money is the only greedy guy? Comedy at its finest
Couldn't disagree with this more. The more we get our content illegally the more we will see price increases and alternative avenues.
