Just to be a bit anti; but also because I believe it
Surprised you haven't been beheaded by now....LOLOL
24 vs 22 years of age...not that much of a difference at all...IMO

But

I do see the phenomenal skills....truly amazing player.
I would always take a Jared Goff over a Carson Wentz type.
You must be crazy.....
There are tapes of John Elway....watch them...matter of fact...here

I prefer a guy with laser beam accuracy & finesse touch over a guy with wheels any day and twice on Sunday.
Laser beam accuracy? Who wouldn't? Look for deep ball accuracy...look for timing with fast players....location and ball placement...completion %%%% can fool you....look for velocity of the ball in terrible weather....then look at who they play with and against.

I prefer winners...winning gene...get the ball in the endzone...with all hell around you...sorry team...sorry protection....sorry receivers...players hurt....get the ball in the endzone and win the game.

I won't go into the comparisons of the 2....but look at other QB's...Moon...Elway....Farve....Rodgers..(probably forgetting 10-20 dudes)..the guys that scramble and have a cannon...look what they do in the playoffs....how they will there teams to wins..W

I would hope the Rams game is significant in week...what is it...14???? But as long as we're still in playoff contention....that's all that matters.

No home games will be played at night at USC. The campus doesn't want a bunch of drunk dudes around at night during the school year. Gonna have to wait until Inglewood is built to get those sweet home prime time games. Would have been nice though. Still wish the Rose Bowl was the temporary home, the tailgating on the golf course would have been legendary.
Unless school is not in session. The way this schedule is set up there won't be any home games flexed.

It'd be amazing if you spent the time boosting Rams players that you dedicate to other teams players. Most of your Rams players time is devoted to tearing them down or telling us who you'd start that Wade or McVay don't.

The potential of these two guys squaring off in the NFC Championship is already getting buzz.

I'm on the record for saying this, but I think Wentz is bigger game changer than Goff, but I absolutely love the idea of these two squaring off and this becoming something. I hope both teams keep their momentum and we get a hell of a matchup on Dec 10th, and maybe even a rematch in the playoffs

All due respect, but it's not like Goff is a statue. He moves around pretty well.
At least well enough to get out of trouble, which is what you want.

Of course...sliding around in the pocket was his specialty in college. He still moves around pretty well...Where did you get I thought him a statue?

Elway won 2 SB's and BOTH were only due to his HOF RB who took over both games & won them for him.Pocket QB's are more than 2-1 over the so called names you've mentioned.Favre= 1 SB ,Aaron Rodgers 1 SB,Moon 0 SB wins & Elway needed a HOF RB to get him over the hump. Peyton Manning needed a defense to get him his 2nd SB win. Pocket QB's will always be top due to less injuries.Wentz turns 25 in Dec. Goff just turned 23 a couple weeks ago.

I don’t know Den. There is two sides to this story and i think both are very plausible. This side you posted that Goff was Fishers boy and that Goff was forced on Fisher which i think is slightly more likely with all things considered due to the actions.

Fisher tanked Goff’s first season and there is no debate in that. Evidence of that is his lack of snaps in the offseason/TC. He never was coached, groomed, or guided much. Neither did they get a QB coach worth a crap for him.

Now he could of been doing it to get another year but you don’t do that with a QB you like.

I think Fisher being the egotistical stubborn ass he was didn’t want to help him his first year due to not wanting Goff.

There was more than a few stories surrounding this topic and as they say where there is smoke there is fire.

When he DID have a choice he took the quy with the quick release and more pinpoint accuracy.

His goal---and he directly said this to Mike Silver BEFORE the draft---was a qb like Brady who gets the ball out so quickly it negates the rush, and also throws it accurately.

He directly said he loved Wentz but Goff was his guy.

Agreed.
And I just cant see how Fisher would have been so enamored with Goff that they would have traded up so much to get him only to keep him bubble wrapped behind Case Frickin Keenum

Air Raid QB - he was bubble wrapped because he wasn't ready

Even the post I quoted at best it's back hand compliments while you're building up other players. A post about how good our oline is doing? You question if they really are but have battled people for 20 pages about how great GRob is. WRs are no different. I know you're a Rams fan its just crazy how little you support Rams players here and instead boost up other teams guys. Hell you spent days telling us Gurley wasn't anything special but Peterson at this point in time was better.

Air raid QB is a fallacy, he wasnt ready because they didnt get him ready. Or know how to
Fisher said a lot of things, like no coaching changes right before firing Walton, like Sam is our QB right before trading him.
Actions speak louder than words. Like we would have been a playoff team had Case Keenum been our QB. Then proceeds to gush all offseason about Case Keenum.
Wentz was not ready, missed most of pre-season, would have ridden pine had Bridgewater not blown out his knee

Elway may have only "won" 2 SB's....but it wasn't because he wasn't trying. He was carrying a Bronco team to the playoffs that didn't belong...He went to 6 SB's....correct? that's the point. Those players were their teams...

Pocket QB's.....the league is changing. You need a play maker against the best defensive teams...Offensive lines aren't the same.

Almost every pundit that saw the game last night, referred to the guy as a MVP candidate. The players around him are average....I do like that Mack Hollins...and Nelson Agholor can play. Lifting a team is different than managing the game. During the playoffs, you need the guy that can put the team on his back, when things are going wrong....and make it right.

I didn't get in here to keep talking about Wentz....I assumed most saw the game last night...and if you formed an opinion on him that's fine...I just made a comment to a post I thought was...just way off on this guy.

The team that beat us, he has beaten twice...easily. I bet my hard earned ROD$$$$ on the pocket guy vs the scrambler....and the scrambler won...for the 2nd time.

Hell you spent days telling us Gurley wasn't anything special but Peterson at this point in time was better.
Gurley is the best player on the team....maybe you haven't been reading my posts enough....OR I DIDN'T PRINT IT BIG ENOUGH. GURLEY IS THE BEST PLAYER ON OUR OFFENSE...HE SHOULD TOUCH THE BALL THE MOST.
GURLEY IS NOT A ADRIAN PETERSON....PETERSON DOESN'T FALL FROM SHOESTRING TACKLES...EVEN AT HIS ADVANCED AGE. HE DOESN'T GO DOWN EASY. EVEN AT HIS AGE. IMO....in my opinion, he's still a better running back than Gurley....because Gurley DOES go down easy....In AP's prime...I never have witnessed him having as much trouble as Gurley had last season....never. Only now do we question his talent....I believe...it is my opinion, in a similar situation as Gurley, AP would be just as successful. AP runs harder...has better vision....and appears more elusive. Gurley has speed on AP....again, in my opinion....

G-Rob plays LT....there really is no comparison to a RG or really our RT in ability...He's struggling at a tougher position. He'll get better with coaching...IMO, much better than career RT's or RG's....

Back handed compliments??? So, I'm not slobbering all over the Rams and their 5-2 record enough for you, ehh? Again, this season is a marathon....We lost a key game at home to a rival...and we lost to a Redskins team at home...the same Redskins that were destroyed last night. The 2 good teams on our schedule we've lost to...

Not sure if you guys want to go to the playoffs and WIN....or you'd be satisfied with a few wins here...a few losses there....and end up watching all the action in January as the Rams miss the playoffs for the 15th straight season?

Yeah he said other things but then did another. A lot of what comes out of these coaches mouths especially Fisher doesn’t have any bearing to thier actions.

Him holding Goff back in the off-season. Now that’s action.

I hope so.

We have that game and then the following week @ Seattle.

What's interesting though....they would have to kick out either Steelers vs. Ravens or the following week Cowboys vs. Raiders...

Huge fan bases, so I'm not sure.
