My thought is to trade for him to be the backup next year and find out what he really can offer with real coaching and a real offense.

It would, of course, depend on draft capital... but he's a cheaper alternative to Darnold and offers the same kind of potential, imo.
He can run a little bit.. and has that fucking cannon.

I've watched a handful of games he played in and I just don't see it with him. I'd rather retain Jimmy G (if possible) as I feel he has way more upside than Levis offers. If we're gonna bring in a young QB I'd rather bring in someone with more potential. Jmo

If you want an underperforming PSU QB then wait a year and take Drew Allar. Better tools. That's a dude I'd want to see McVay get hands on.

Wouldn't be opposed to it, not a fan of his rookie contract but if coach wants him then do it.

If all it takes is a 6th, I'm game. There are also some late Day 2 and early Day 3 QBs in this draft who interest me.
Except Levis played at Kentucky.
He technically transferred from Penn State.

No thank you. Not so sure the tools are better, and he'd cost a lot more in terms of draft compensation.

Does it help that I had a dream that the Rams traded for Trevor Lawrence which follows my pattern of dream picking Orlando Pace, Marshall Faulk, Lawrence Phillips and Matthew Stafford? :) :)

I see a difference… Jimmy had a higher FLOOR, imo… but Levi’s has a higher ceiling.
Isn’t Levis the embodiment of “potential”? Athletic.. big.. cannon? Darnold was, literally, the worst QB statistically before KOC.
Sean revived Baker.. Goff… Levis has had shit coaching and structure.

Take a swing.

My concern with Levis is decision making.

:pointup:I wrote this then checked his stats. He is not as interception prone as I thought. Both seasons with ratings in the low 80’s.

My next concern is that whole mayonnaise thing. :D

Yeah… if you compare his numbers to Darnold… you see similarities,

That still counts as decision making!

Oh.. Geno Smith is another interesting comp.

My point is that Levis is the prototype, physically. He’s been in bad situations. That’s where you might get lucky without breaking the bank.

I know Titans aren’t a big nationally telecasted team so some of you should go watch Levi’s actual play. It was scary in a bad way.
