3rd and 2 — still Playing 10 yards off. Wtf. Lucky pass was too hot. But they had 3-4 guys wide open for easy 1st down.

Considering the team we are fielding, a 13-3 halftime score against the 8-2 Chiefs is very respectable.

Where is bobby brown? Rochell? Durant? Lake? Yeast? I just don't get it unless the Rams still think their D can keep them in the game.

They only got 3 when this board was expecting 7
Well I have always stated they have a very good red zone defense

But you get to the red zone so many times it will come to TDs later in the game

Only reason that the score is as close as it is because Perkins is doing a good job with TOP.

Well unless our D can get a pick 6 I don’t see us scoring in the 2nd half unless we can conjure up some plays to put us on the board…

Second time Long has been burned passing the player off to the safety
That's 'cuz we haven't got any decent pass coverage safetys.....They stink and everyone knows it.
The Safety position has got to be a priority in next year's draft. Heck, and don't get me started on our "coverage" CBs either.
I know this might be controversial for some but I am really comtemplating taking coverage DBs over Edge early in next years draft. IMO it is best to cover first and foremost and then let your pass rush get home.

Don’t look now, but Perkins has 2 completions on 5 throws for a total of 16 yards in the first half.

Is that one dimensional or what?

Wonder how Chiefs D will scheme in second half? Sigh…

Some random notes:

1. Hoecht doing a great job off the edge on the blindside. Chiefs actually slid protections to him. He's giving a good LT fits. Keep it up.

2. How is Durant not on that field. Get him out there we might actually pick a ball. He should be outside the hash. Kendricks in the slot.

3. McCutcheon needs to stay out there for every offensive snap. He and Perk work well together. If you sit anyone sit anyone else. None of these guys are moving the needle so go with the pairing.

4. More draws. The way the Chiefs are going upfield they will work. But you have to actually pause and let the defense move on from its early run read and the linemen to get upfield.

5. Help Skura with his matchup in pass pro where the QB will hold the ball for any length of time. He's in over his head.

I said to the Mrs. That McCutcheon should stay on the field, but then again if Perkins has zero time to throw it really doesn’t matter. Go to 12 personnel?

God I just cant watch this defense with them playing so far back
It may be one of the most painful defenses I've watched. Seems like such an incredibly lazy way to call a Defense.

Can we even do 12 personnel? Do we have two TEs?

The Rams(McV) could write a book this year called 101 ways to Lose on First Down

Chapter one: run between the tackles for no gain

Chapter two: throw a WR screen for 1 yard

Chapter three: throw a low % sideline fade pass 25 yards downfield

Chapter four: run a sweep to the sideline for no gain

Chapter five: delay of game

Chapter six: timeout called before delay of game

Chapter seven: designed run for running QB for 2 yards

Chapter eight: never throw to the RB’s whom we drafted for their passing game skills
