Former 49er OC and new Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel was just on the Pat McAfee Show and what a cool ass dude. Glad he's not in SF anymore. Instantly became a huge fan of him and hope he kills it!
Yeah - hated him because of the 49er connection but genuinely stoked to see how he goes at the Dolphins

I thought Coach Ratboy was the 2nd coming of Bill Walsh. An absolute offensive minded genius (blue font). If that’s true What did Mike McDaniel do besides prepare game film and fill coffee Ratboys coffeecup?

IDK I wish him well in Miami, but Kyle Shanahan will always scare me. That and his flat bill cap. I think he's one of the premier play callers in the NFL and as long as he is the Head Coach in San Francisco they will always be a threat IMO.

McVay is a superior organizer, extraordinary recruiter plus hires great assistant coaches and players love playing for him. But I would still give Shanahan the edge in calling plays and Shanahan is going to be tested to see if he can develop Trey Lance.

I'm glad the 49ers lost Mike McDaniel & QB Coach Rich Scangarello, however, I like to keep my friends close, but my enemies closer so until Shanahan leaves San Francisco I will always have one eye on them.

I encouraged my Card brethren to love the stability of the front office for Kyler....

How have they not banned your ass yet. :laugh4:

Hopefully he was critical in the design of their run game. Would be nice to see them lose potency there.

I went and read the forums for Cards, Squaks, and 9ers and they're all pissed we signed Robinson. I love it!

Scenario 2:

Kyler Murray is much worse behind the scenes than we can even imagine, and the organization finally understands their level of culpability and enablement. And it’s all stopping now.

In other words, Keim has proven to Bidwill that Kingsbury’s NFL collapses are more about the quarterback than the head coach. Because Murray won’t stay in the pocket, step up in the pocket or play a majority of snaps under center. Or how he doesn’t bother to watch film because he thinks he’s a savant and (gulp) why bother when he can’t really see the entire field?

Even more depressing, he doesn’t seem to love playing football. Not after Thanksgiving, when the injuries and attrition set in, as they do with everyone in the NFL. Not when the games really matter, when he can almost hear defensive players frothing at the mouth.

Maybe the Cardinals are tired of Murray’s arrested development and having to cover for him at every turn. There was a time when Keim sold a blatant lie to the media, clapping back at Bart Scott and vigorously defending Murray’s leadership skills in the fall of 2020. Some of us have heard stories of how Murray enraged Larry Fitzgerald with his entitled attitude, and seriously, if you can’t get along with Larry Fitzgerald…

Recently, Christian Kirk’s mother liked a tweet that was critical of Murray. And Fitzgerald’s father didn’t bother to mince words, calling Murray “spoiled” on Twitter.

Keim and Kingsbury share a piece of the blame. They are ultimately in charge of Murray’s growth and are guilty of giving too much and coddling too often. Remember when Kingsbury actually said Murray had earned a say in personnel matters? Laughable.

So pick a side. Or just wait for the answers to unfold. If the Cardinals don’t extend Murray before the 2022 season, they are making him prove his worth. They are very publicly pointing a finger back at him while giving Keim and Kingsbury the security he coveted.

In the end, Murray was correct for feeling like a scapegoat. Because he is. And for all his breathtaking talent, maybe he deserves it.

If anybody cares, Scenario 1 is a take on Bidwill and how he is pretty much an apple that didn't fall far from daddy's tree and doesn't really care what happens on the field if he's making money.
Strong call-out of the midget…he’s earned every bit of it.

Has to prove he can take the pounding…he is zero on the f’n bench. Zero.

NFL Football is so much fun. It's also fucking-Brutal.

32 teams, and most enter the season hoping/expecting to make the playoffs.

So the Ravens, Seahawks, Chargers, Saints, Browns, Dolphins and Vikings ain't too happy. Which of the non-playoff-teams felt good about themselves after the 2021 season?

Then 14 teams go to the playoffs. Many with high aspirations. All but one have their season end with a loss. Some suffer brutal, heart-breaking losses, while others greatly-disappoint by performing far-below expectations. So the Bucs, Packers, Chiefs, Bills, Titans, Cowboys, Niners, Cardinals and Patriots are all miserable and/or disappointed.

Maybe the Eagles and Raiders felt pretty good because they may have exceeded expectations. Maybe the Steelers felt OK because Roethlisberger seemed about done. Maybe even the Bengals because of their impressive run and young star-QB ... BUT they did have the lead with under two minutes to play in the Championship game ... and lost.

Who feels good heading into the off-season? Anyone? Oh yeah, the Super Bowl Champion Rams!!!
