There are NO green bell peppers in it because they are kinda gross to me.
Fresh cilantro, jalapeños, and poblano peppers chopped into tiny pieces to add a crunch.
I do add orange and yellow bells though as well as onion and tomatoes.
I absolutely love ceviche. Oddly, I rarely make it anymore. I need to change that.I’m the same way with Green Bell peppers.
I don’t buy them….ever.
I always substitute green bell peppers with poblanos or Anaheim chilies.
I love red bell peppers though.
Count me in on the no green bell peppers. They are disgusting raw and especially gross cooked. It would be like putting pineapple on a pizza.
I'm good with yellow, orange, and red bells (reds are the only bells I can stomach cooked) but mostly substitute Poblanos for bells in just about anything you would think green peppers would be needed. Either that or I'll use Jalapenos or Serranos if I'm looking for a green pepper kick.
