There are NO green bell peppers in it because they are kinda gross to me.

Fresh cilantro, jalapeños, and poblano peppers chopped into tiny pieces to add a crunch.

I do add orange and yellow bells though as well as onion and tomatoes.

I’m the same way with Green Bell peppers.
I don’t buy them….ever.
I always substitute green bell peppers with poblanos or Anaheim chilies.

I love red bell peppers though.
I absolutely love ceviche. Oddly, I rarely make it anymore. I need to change that.

Count me in on the no green bell peppers. They are disgusting raw and especially gross cooked. It would be like putting pineapple on a pizza.:sick2:

I'm good with yellow, orange, and red bells (reds are the only bells I can stomach cooked) but mostly substitute Poblanos for bells in just about anything you would think green peppers would be needed. Either that or I'll use Jalapenos or Serranos if I'm looking for a green pepper kick.

BTW... We caught a bunch of yellow tail snapper when we were down in the Keys. I cooked them up a couple different ways at our condo. That is an underrated fish if you ask me. Very tasty.

We caught some yellow tail snapper. So a little over 2 hours ago I finished turning some into this big dish of ceviche. I fresh squeezed oranges, limes, and lemons and sliced up everything else in there... stuck it in the cooler and went straight to bed. Woke up just now because I was dreaming about it. I had to go eat a crap load of it and test it for poison. Here's what's left.

We'll probably finish it off for breakfast in the morning.

Here are some sandwiches that I think you'd love @CGI_Ram ! I saw a video of sandwiches US people no longer eat. Some of them looked tasty and others looked gross. But it got me thinking of sandwiches that I loved so much as a kid that I'd order at a cafe/eatery almost every lunch. Now, I rarely look at the available sandwiches on a menu because I've gotten too fancy, I guess. These are the sandwiches that I loved at restaurants. Add yours and please no red snapper sushi on wonderbread sandwiches!
1. Club sandwich with fries. I just loved this at a cafe called Cocos in Northern California. This would be my favorite.
2. Monte Cristo sandwich. I think I first had one of these at an IHOP in the late 70's. Loved it!
3. French Dip sandwich. I think I also had this at Cocos and loved to dip the roast beef on sour dough bread in a savory au jous. I could almost drink that stuff and I sort of did with the saturated end of the sandwich!
4. Eggs Benedict is almost a breakfast sandwich and I loved it so...

Now what are yours? SOS? Pimento Sandwich? Beef tongue? Cucumber sandwiches at tea time? Flufferbutter? Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich (my wife's favorite)

I had a killer burger today at 22 Bowens in Newport RI today . Was a La Frieda burger (IYKYK) with steamed lobster meat on top, slaw, pepper jack cheese and truffle aioli on a brioche bun. App was an order of mussels with a white wine, creamy mustard sauce and garlic toast points.

No pics because I was starving

Damn.... that seems like a steal! :wow2:
My uncle ran a lobster business - though, by the time I was cognizant enough to remember things, he had retired from that- sold the boats... He did have buoys and pots galore at his place, however!
