The Rams had a bye last week.
The week before that he graded at about a 55 as I recall.
Got it.The extremely low grade was based on his entire season.
Top level OL are not walking the streets and other teams don't regularly get rid of them. Everyone talks about the Eagles and Andre Dillard. It’s just inexplicable from so many angles. Were they really thinking Allen’s return would be enough to shore things up? How come all we did was acquire an aging retread tackle over the bye? How do such great coaches/GM maintain such a giant blind spot about the value of OL, even after the painfully obvious failure of this season thus far?
That is very true but if we had dedicated 1 OL in the first 4 rounds for both the 2020 and 2021 draft which isn't really asking for much due to all the picks we had in the first 4 rounds, we would at the bare minimum not have Evans on the team. Evans getting a PFF score of 7 is about the same as putting your name right on an exam. The simple truth is Evans is our fifth string OG. He's not supposed to be playing. We've just had terrible luck. Hopefully, Edwards or Shelton comes back soon.
At least Rapp and Higbee have had good showings in the past.Along with Higbee and Rapp. Anyone who was on the field that let this team down should be axed as well. Lets not single anyone out call it out how it is…
Who would have thought that both Anchrum and Bruss would go down with season-ending injuries after we lost both Edwards and Shelton? That's just catastrophically bad luck. That is very true but if we had dedicated 1 OL in the first 4 rounds for both the 2020 and 2021 draft which isn't really asking for much due to all the picks we had in the first 4 rounds, we would at the bare minimum not have Evans on the team. And I thought Blythe was bad

It’s bizarre continuing to play Evans. Unless McVay is a mad scientist and is slow playing his hand - letting 9ers think they have it easy against us and then bam…change up & win against them in the playoffs. No, I’m not serious. But I’m at a loss for any type of explanation
Because opposing teams see that he sucks and expect it. That's the head coach's ploy Just kidding, or maybe it's true...It’s another case of this team doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
I just don’t get it. McVay jettisoned a young QB who struggled but has talent and had played well in the past. But Evans has never played that well and has mostly sucked and is still here. Why?
Time to cut Evans, and play Brewer if they have to. Elevate Ty Nsekhe to be swing OT.
5 of the 8 players on IR are OL and 3 of them are starters. C'mon Snead get Burns and Corbett. Austin gives the OL a fighting chance for the rest of the season. They both fill critical needs long term.
I agree - that is horrible bad luck - but why why why why is Evan's still even on the teamWho would have thought that both Anchrum and Bruss would go down with season-ending injuries after we lost both Edwards and Shelton? That's just catastrophically bad luck.
Dumbest decision by far by McVay was to keep Bobby Evans. I know we arent supposed to call them names, but dude's game is trash as an o-linemen. We should have given that opportunity to some new blood. I mean, look what happened when Alaric Jackson finally got a chance. So many miscues are biting us in the ass. And yes, I'll bring Creed Humphrey into this because that fuck up keeps rearing it's head around thanks to our o-line problems.I’m shocked he even made the team. Shows how desperate we are for OL. There has to be someone on someone’s practice squad who’s better than him. I’d put up a traffic cone instead of him and probably do better.
