I've seen a handful of people, both on this board and on social media, say we haven't done anything yet and that they'll enjoy it if we win the Lombardi in February.

I don't get that. It's like they are suspending their own happiness.

There is so much to enjoy about this season. Much more so than in 2021, when this board almost imploded after the loss in Green Bay.

I'm loving this season because we are so dominant, and it's more like the GSOT than in 2019 or 2021.

The games are so much fun to watch.

And watching all the reels on Facebook, the interviews on YouTube, the clips on NFL.com, and the talking heads all having to tip their hat to the Rams, McVay and Stafford is catnip to me.

So, whereas if we don't win the Super Bowl, I'll be bitterly disappointed, it doesn't alter the fact that I am having a fucking shit ton of fun at the moment.
Injuries....injuries....It all comes down to Injuries. If we can make it to the playoff without any significant injuries, then we may be good. The team is balanced and now has a reliable kicker. Stafford is kicking butt and our defense it scaring QBs to death. But it gets down to injuries.

God Dammit man! Do you get on an airplane and say, everything will be great as long as we don't crash? I am only half kidding.

Some people simply don't enjoy the journey.

Some of those that do enjoy it, think those that don't are greatly missing-out.

It's tough to win in the NFL. Every win should be enjoyed ... at least, that's my thought

Part of the enjoyment but I would not get too swept-up by the opinions of third parties that watch far less Rams' football than we do.

Perhaps the only comment I do not entirely agree with.

The Rams are Really Good right now ... and have a legit opportunity to win a Lombardi.

However, there is a ton of regular season football to play. And there are other Quality Teams out there.

Jason Myers makes that kick 50% of the time. If he hits the final-play-FGA as well as he did early in the game, ALL the positive National Media Rams' comments from the past ten days disappear.

For the Rams to win the Super Bowl, they will Need to Win Multiple Close Games against strong teams,
like they did in 2021 against Tampa (last-play-FG), the Niners (down by two scores to start the 4th quarter)
and Cincinnati (final possession game-winning TD-drive, followed by stops on 3rd-and-1 AND 4th-and-1)
... AND NOT Lose a game at the very end, with a blown-play, like they did last year in Philadelphia.

It CAN Happen ... It WON'T be Easy ... IT NEVER IS

I look at the games could’ve won as well as lose. The niners should’ve been a WIN at Home.Very disappointing because of how HURT they were.

The INDY game is one that gets overlooked. The Rams FANS were GREAT though & helped with The WIN.Having Home Field is meaning more than in a lot of YEARS past !!
That’s nice to see & The Growth of The Franchise!!

I get pissed at the Haters!! I try to be a realist, but also LOVE The Growth of Player.

Emanuel Forbes is an example.Getting Ahkello back is going to be such a PLUS!! All those who put to much into paper, instead of what is on The Field.
Oldschool is an excellent poster here, but as much as he doesn’t like this CB group ? I said just a couple games ago, especially made it CLEAR how LUCKY The Rams are having E. #1 FORBES !! Look what INDY gave up for there CB -Sauce Gardener ?? IMO Forbes is that same type player who is finding himself.
The Rams coaching staff & system means something. Saying Limmer is this & that. It’s nice to have him as a backup. To ALL the SHELTON HATERS(BubbaRam) .It’s a Team !! Of course Tampa Bay upfront is a Bad Matchup & shut down The Run.

Who knows ? RT is a mixed of a good pass protector vs an excellent Run blocker. The kicking game looks like it’s changing?

FUCK THIS SEASON!

Just take every season as it is. I started as a fan in 1999, went to my first game in 1999, and there was honestly not much to cheer about after 2003 until 2017. From 2003 until 2011, there was S-Jax, Torry for some years, maybe some highlights of Long, Laurinaitis, some Tinoisamoa (met the guy at the 2006 draft hosted by the Rams, and he, Jimmy Kennedy, and Kevin Curtis were nothing short of gracious the teenager that was yours truly...even though I knew I could've done a better job drafting than Zygmunt did; I wanted Ngata that draft and then Revis in 2007), Atogwe's interceptions, Quinn's rookie season, the short hope of Sam Bradford and Danny Amendola in 2010, and that was literally it.

Honestly, had I not found this site in 2010, it would've been even more painful to be a Rams fan. Even though I disagreed with some of Fisher's moves (drafting Janoris Jenkins - even though I was proven wrong really quickly), the trade-up for Tavon, Greg Robinson and everything about it, everything he did on offense short of Chris Givens for one year), he did lay a foundation, and the team, even though it wasn't a winning team, became a fun team to watch, a better team.

And that's why I can always having appreciate McVay, Snead, Demoff, and the ownership: it's so easy to do worse.

I have never seen so many people wearing Rams gear on a Sunday while out and about. I say hello to as many as I can. I was wearing my #75 Deacon Jones Throwback while shopping and it's nice to see so many Rams fans in Ventura County. I felt like the lonesome unicorn fan, for so many years , when times were bad. I wake up everyday enjoying and appreciating that our beloved Rams are where they are.
This is what a lot of people around here want.
Pre-move back to L.A You could hardly find a Ram fan to talk to and merch, forget it.
I am super mixed on this, after taking soo much shit for soo many years I got to like the boutique "y" feel of our team. It was me against the world sort of feeling and made wins sweet.
The bandwagon is being built I hope the idiots stay off.

My wife is a chiefs fan.

Her and I traded Super Bowls back to back years but her chiefs have obviously been the more dominant team the last few years.

It’s nice to be the clearly superior team now. She can’t understand why they have fallen when Mahomes is still there.

My response. It’s a team game and injuries, drafting, free agency all matter.

We have a perfect storm brewing at the right time. Consistent Draft picks, free agency signings, health and innovative coaching.

in Donald and Robinson, Fisher may have had the best and worst Rams pick of all time in one draft take every season as it is. In Donald and Robinson, Fisher may well have had the best and worst Rams draft picks in the franchise's history in one round.

Were you active on The Herd message board?

I had not been on any Rams site other than the Post Dispatch before this site, sadly. As soon as I saw this site on X's signature I jumped ship, and it remains one of the best decisions of my life.

Just to throw some things out for how unique this season is...

In 2021, we beat up on non playoff teams. We went 2-5 against playoff teams....one of those wins was the Cardinals, who we typically own.

Here are the records we've played this year:

6-5 (W)
2-9 (W)
8-3 (L)
8-3 (W)
8-4 (L)
6-5 (W)
7-4 (W)
2-9 (W)
8-4 (W)
8-3 (W)
6-5 (W)

We are #1 in DVOA which takes who you play into account. We are top five in EPA/play on both offense and defense. We have the #1 scoring defense.

This is rare.
We have the #1 scoring defense, the #6 scoring offense, and hopefully have solved our kicking issues. Is it me or does this secondary seem to have improved astronomically over the last month? It's like they're feeding off each other. Forbes has elevated his play to the point where he's almost a lockdown corner, something I thought we'd be targeting in the draft. We have an abundance of riches right now and I couldn't be happier;-) Let's cross our fingers and hope for the best.
