I wonder where Corbett slots in after he gets up to speed. Could just be a super-sub. But one has to wonder if he replaces Brian Allen if Allen continues to struggle.
Unlikely Corbett replaces Allen. Blythe would step in at Center and Corbett would play right guard. Blythe filled in well at Center last year, no reason to fix what's not broken.

Further it would be more difficult to place Corbett in a position to make calls at the line as he is new to the team.

Yes Allen would go to the bench to learn and get swole, but not be replaced by Corbett.

I was hoping for the best with Demby. Thought he might show something if given the chance, but it wasn't working. Good for them to take a shot here. I wish O-line substitutions in the NFL have the same impact as soccer in terms of game-changing impact

They don't have to dominate. They just have to squeeze out 7 or 8 wins out of 10.
Every player and coach just woke up this week. If there was a hangover, everybody should be sobered up now.
Lots of young talented dudes getting chances.. Just what this team needed in terms of energy and focus.
The last two games through to London will be the crucible that forges the character of this team.

Guys, we were one pussyfart in Seattle on the kick from being 4-2.
If we can get to the bye with a couple we should win, we could come out better than ever. Its totally possible. We will need 8 out of 10, maybe 7. We can get that.

I'm pumped again.
I’ll drink to a pussyfart away:party:

8. 11-5 is gonna be the minimum, I think and that may still not be enough unless we even up things with Seattle and SF. if we go 11-5 and lose to either of them, it won't be enough.

I don't know. 11-5 with wins against the Saints, Panthers and others, with one the league's hardest schedules would be enough far more often than not and the entire landscape will change multiple times over 11 weeks.

Better Edwards than Demby. I'm interested to see if this means that Evans is dressed for the Falcons game.
And now we are full circle my good friend! :ROFLMAO:

Here’s to hoping that he at the very least holds his own! Lol sob!

Good thing we have the Falcons, Bengals and then a bye coming up. I’m sure Geno Atkins is going to be a handful for him!

Never was on the Demby/ Blythe train. What you think it takes to get Williams? A 2? And if so would you do it?

I dont think Corbett has an immediate impact. If he takes over anyones role its Demby
Hopefully Evans passes Demby soon on the depth chart.
Because they felt Demby was the first man up also might mean that they're not giving up on him yet.
Maybe he'll develop out(?)

Theres no way the rams arent talking about trent williams. The Mcvay connection, the dire need.

Whit was brought in when he was several years older than trent and is better at this point.

I was fine with the rams moving up to get a big time lineman in next years draft so use the necessary picks to land this guy.

We just made the defense a powerhouse and adding williams fixes our offense toot suite.

People who dont follow the rams will freak out and say they're writing checks they can't cash but brockers talib peters and whit wont be here next season and thats a lot of money. And at this point maybe the rams think Obo can take fowlers spot so more money there.

GET trent and start corbett at right guard or center

You could be right. I read somewhere that Corbetts value coming out was his position flexibility ()something Dembry supposedly had). So my guess is after the bad Dembry outings they want a new Dembry.

I don’t think people are freaking out about giving out the cash-they are freaking out about all the picks we are giving up.

Tunsel went for 2 first rounders. Williams is worth more than a 2nd.

Its still very difficult for me now to think that this Championship Rams team actually thought it was going to be fine in the OL unit .......when we had two OL'ers starting (one out of position) who had never started........ now in their 2nd seasons.......... & a first yr OL'er Jamil Demby who had never suited up for a regular season game as our 6th OL'er???:palm:

What was I thinking???:censored:

How could that plan end good?
Now that was one serious :poop: miscalculation by our top administration. :admin:

You're not an orphan Bon. Many of us here thought the same (or hoped at least)

Demby is their swing interior lineman. Get used to it. He's the only one who has been cross trained to that extent to play that role. Edwards played and practiced sparingly at OG in TC. He's a bigger guy with a better play radius. He better be better, because he has no excuse. I think he's a stop gap until they get to the bye and can get Corbett up to speed. Evans the supposedly superior athlete to Demby can't even get on the field. No matter how much you want to say it, Demby wasn't the train wreck you all kept saying and still say he is. If he was, would they keep putting him in there?

Has he struggled? Yes at times but so has Blythe, Havenstein and even Whitworth and there is no excuse at all for them is there. IMO Allen has struggled more than Demby which is troubling. Will Corbett replace Allen? I doubt it. IMO Corbett is a OG more than a Center.
