I do think he represents a QB2 upgrade. But that upgrade would come with cost, and with that considered if the Rams are happy with the guys they have, and knowing they need to squeeze AD in and pay one of their OL at the very least in the coming months... It probably means they're not gonna look at him.

Not particularly concerned about QB2 if Stafford goes down for a bit, considering if we score 17 we will win most games with the current state of our defense.

Chesney was JMU Head Coach for last 2 years. JMU made the 12team NCAA CFP playoffs last year. Chesney took 10 players with him from JMU to UCLA. He Took over JMU head coach position from Kurt Cignetti/2026 CFP champion Indiana Head Coach. Previously Cignetti took 12 players with him from JMU to Indiana. That’s the way college football “works” now.
