Not sure if this was posted anywhere else? Didn't see it.

Love interviews like this. Conversational between players with mutual respect and insight. Great listen. I never knew much about Adams, but the more I do, the more respect I have for him. I thought maybe he was a diva. Not so. Anybody that grows up in East Palo Alto has to have a pretty hard shell.

A couple things in listening:

  • The respect for McVay is universal and understated. The more I hear in these player podcasts, the more it is reinforced EVERYBODY would love to play for Sean McVay.
  • The respect for Cooper Kupp- the same. I am still one that is a bit shocked and sad Kupp is not still with this group. I understand he fell off a bit. But just a bit. I wish we could have figured out this three-headed monster for two years, with Stafford.
  • Just for those of you not aware- I LOVE that Davonte grew up in the shadow of Santa Clara (11 miles) and did not want to be a Niner. He was a Raider guy. The "Niner Aura" that might have existed for 20 years or so, is decidedly gone. It only exists in the minds of delusional whiner fans.

A great receiver whom Nacua, Whittington, Mumpfield, and the other young receivers could learn from.
