:LOL::LOL::LOL:

Go Cardinals!

I hate these 5 game series, though.

It doesn't seem right to play 162, then play 5 games to decide who advances.

For the last several years, the Cubs have been an after thought. Not even a rival. Certainly not even worth mentioning.

That episode where Cueto killed LaRue's career early, + Brandon Phillips, + the insufferable Thommyboy Brennaman has had me hating the Reds more than the ScrubTubs.

Joe Maddon, however, has stoked up some BS because he's a perpetual postseason choker, came the Scrubs, became insufferable, and thus, my annoyance with Pigglyville is steadily growing.

Hope we sweep those fuckers right out the doorstep and celebrate ON THEIR FIELD in two games time.

Never saw it coming. The way the cards played the regular season I didn't think they could be beat. But sometimes the best team doesn't always when. Its the team who gets hot at the right time. Cubs will be a force to be reckoned with. Mets or Dodgers will have their hands full.

One think I'm not sure of, the Cubs had a better record than either team left but they were not a division winner. Does home field go to the team with the best record? Or does it have to be a division winner?

Yeah, I agree.

Don't even like baseball and I'm rooting hard for the Cubs. The dedication the fans have for their team is phenomenal; it's like giving yourself daily whippings, DaVinci Code style just going through those horrid shit shows they dealt with the past few years and not winning anything since 1908. If they win it all, Back to the Future II is going to be the prophecy of trivial goodness.

Anyone who wants people to feel for Rams fans in regards to championships and such, probably shouldn't talk to a Cubs fan. The fact that there actually still are Cubs fans is a testament to their fans.

Unless of course those Rams fans are Blues fans, in which case then there's nada a Cubs fan can say.

Yeah, at least the Cubs have World Series wins and players that they can brag about. The most we have is Brett Hull, and he's more widely known as a Star because he won it all there.

We got a few people worth hanging hats on, we have the Plagers, MacInnis, Berenson and Hull, maybe Gassoff and Demitra if you really wanna dig deep, but you're right that it's definitely a short list.

Almost all the players we're known for are known for succeeding when getting the hell away from us or being hand me downs from other teams like Fuhr, Gretzky, Tkachuk, Drake and so many more.
