The Stevie Brown reunion in New York wasn’t a long one.

The Giants cut the veteran safety today, replacing him on the roster with former 49ers safety Craig Dahl, according to Tom Rock of Newsday.

Brown was signed a week ago after he was released by the Texans, reuniting him with his former team. They’ve had plenty of turnover at the safety position throughout the preseason, but this one looks like a simple upgrade rather than one forced by injury.

Dahl is also a former Giant, making the team as an undrafted rookie in 2007 and staying there two years. He’s also played for the Rams before going to San Francisco, giving him plenty of background with new coordinator Steve Spagnuolo.

Losers do seem to stick together and these two failed miserably here.

Craig "Bad Angle " Dahl will haunt Rams fans dreams forever....

If Craig Dahl is the Giants answer at safety, the question must be..
"What personnel moves does a fired Head Coach make in his last year?"

I'm pretty sure a lawn chair could tackle better than Dahl and it is a testament to the quality of Spag's coaching to have brought that loser back.

If Craig Dahl can get a gig in this league, then so can I. And I'm a 27-year-old undrafted rookie left guard who hasn't played organised football in 11 years.
