The deal the Lone Star State has been waiting on is getting done.

Perhaps the Cowboys' biggest star, quarterback Dak Prescott and Dallas have agreed to terms on a new deal, the team announced Monday. It is a four-year deal for $160 million, worth up to $164 million with $126 million guaranteed, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.

"The Dallas Cowboys agreed to terms on a new contract with quarterback Dak Prescott on Monday," the team statement read. "Further information and details will be released at a formal press announcement on Wednesday."

Around The NFL will have more shortly.

i've never been that impressed by dak...

like old school said, "that's a lot of cheddar for a guy who's never won a playoff game and is coming off a brutal injury"..

couldn't agree more, and like i said, he's never been that impressive, IMHO...

go rams

slo

So The Boys win only 2 of 5 games that Dak started, (1 of them was due to the Falcons complete incompetence covering an onsides kick), he has 7 turnovers in 5 games (1.4 per game), and he gets 40 mill per year. Yet the Rams win 10 of 16 games that Goff plays in, (including a playoff win on the road), while he had 17 turnovers in 16 games (1.06 per game), and they have to give Detroit a 1st rounder to take him off our hands.
What a whacky world.....

Not surprising...This is how the NFL works. If you have a QB that doesn’t suck you have to pay them a ton or risk having QBs that do suck for extended periods

66 million "to sign" ...75 mil in year 1? Wow. How in the hell is that going to fit under the cap?

I saw some nonsense about 2 voidable years so they can stretch the signing bonus over 6 years. Still, that's a HUGE piece of cheddar
