You build your team to win your division. If you dont win your division, and you dont make the playoffs as a WC then tough.

I remember back in 1967 the Rams beat the Colts in last game of the season tying them for the division with 11-1-2 records but winning on the tiebreaker. Rams won the Coastal Division and the Colts were out of the playoffs with the best record in the NFL at the time.

In an interview after the game, Johnny Unitas said 2 things that I will never forget.

He said I ate grass for 60 minutes.

And then when they asked him if it was fair that the Colts didn't make the playoffs, Johnny U said, football isnt about being fair.

Win the games you need to win your division, otherwise STFU.

Man, talk about an underachieving team. As disappointed as we are with the Rams 7-5 record right now, at least we are in a division with two teams that already have 10 wins. The NFC East looks about as talented as the usual fare the AFC East serves up to the Patriots, and yet the most talented team in that division, the Cowboys, are at .500 after 12 games. How the fu....

If it happens I propose that we all pitch in and buy @Rynie a commemorative shot glass, t-shirt and hat, season highlights film and a bottle of his favorite beverage in order to wash away the memories of Jones and Garrett.

I'm only goofing on him because he's a good egg. This season has to be on his nerves.
