Cool - thanks - what happens if his contract isn’t voided just to play devils advocate??

It will be interesting.
He is not under contract next year period. The void year is just a feature teams put in contracts to lesson the cap hit and avg out his cap number over more years. The Rams were forced to do this since their cap situation wasn't great last year or this year...only $2.9M under the cap right now. It does open up to $58M next year even with Noteboom's $10M hit. So going forward they are in good shape.

thanks - still a Noteboom fan,but it shows how BAD Mcvay has neglected the Offensive Line.
It’s nice to see that depth. Justin Dedich is a surprise. In fact what Limmer is doing at Center basically saved The Rams Season. The way he has stepped in basically since Day 1.
I like to watch the development of Players.I drink to much Kool-aide.I probably overdosed on Joesph -boom.
—My hope is what The Rams structure of K.Dot-Avila-J.Williams
really is a All Pro type line.Talk about Notebooms contract(draft pick). This is a core of what The Rams did in the offseason & didn’t address the Inside(2) LBer spots.
In fact letting EJ53 go really F’d UP the DEPTH!!

Oh well - thanks again.

McVay neglected the oline?!? It's only cause we have so much depth that we've won any games this year!

A historically bad run of OL not being available right now is what we've dealt with but we went into the season with a good swing tackle in Noteboom (some teams don't even have one) who could also play both guard spots and a sold backup center along with Bruss (eeeeeeeeh) and Dedich in the wings. Can't do much better than that, sucks that so many got injured though including our primary backup in Noteboom!*

*though I think there's a valid argument that Noteboom being made of glass makes him a less than stellar primary backup but when healthy he's the top of the league as a 6th OL.

With just the O’Line,I’m talking before Wendell.Mcvay cut John Sullivan & went with Allen & Blythe,a long with Noteboom.
—Having SMALLER guards was a JOKE. We can go into the history of it.The signing of Johna Williams was over kill ?

- in my view having a smaller center is all right, next to a couple Big Boys at guard. Justin Dedrich IMO is playing out of his mind.He was always a good lineman at USC.

He was a UDRFA who is starting in his first season. I give CREDIT to Mcvays preseason theory.Like I said I can go on & on.
—Beaux Limmer vs Justin Dedrich is the size comparison at guard & center. If Brian Allen was playing Center IMO Justin would struggle a little more ?

Just to add,The Rams have depth at WR,it’s through development.Make no DOUBT about it though & what Cooper Kupp has ALWAYS meant to the WR group since he became a RAM !!
Trading someone like that would be like Bruce going to the niners.

On the bolded:

I'll admit that I prefer bigger offensive linemen as a whole...but Limmer is actually not as heavy as you think he is (probably 304 lbs., even though Wikipedia lists him at 312 lbs.), and Dedich is 6'2", and barely 300 lbs. They both have played well (and it helps that Limmer is as country strong as any center in the NFL; the thirty-nine reps on the bench prove it. Dedich actually posted thirty-two, which, again, is pretty damn strong).

Yes, Limmer has had his share of missteps, but I trust him at center more than I do Jonah Jackson because he's only going to get better with more experience. I think this is an unpopular opinion of mine, but I want Limmer as my starting center next to Avila and Dotson (or, when Dotson leaves or is traded, keep an eye on Dylan McMahon, the sixth round rookie guard/center we poached from the Eagles. K.T. Leveston, when/if he comes back - possibly next year, should be an interesting player as well.).

There is no reason Limmer should've ever been available with our pick in the sixth round; we were lucky to draft him, and luckier still that he's starting for us and proving why we drafted him.

OK - I agree ? Very well posted.

I’m just REALLY MAD about the Johan Williams signing.(Brian Allen I never liked). Why cut him before the draft.I get not trusting Noteboom, but he gave The Rams a nice option at guard if Steve Avila was The Rams Center ?
—I’m just saying even Zach Thomas looked good in the preseason.
****Patrick Queen should have been a player The Rams looked at in FA’c,or someone similar IMO.

I’m actually really mad about the T’’ White signing as well after watching him play especially.
Why not bring back Whiterspoon ??

I don’t know why or what goes on behind closed DOORS!!! What I do know is what I see & hear.

Whiterspoon did an interview right after 2023 with Downtown Rams.I’m upset at JAKE with the whole Ernest Jones thing, but I get it.He is an Old Rod poster who we’ve disgust topics here.
— His Interview though was Top Notch & I felt for both he & Whiterspoon bonding.I saw he has his Old Jersey on his show(sometimes?).
—That said I saw him at training camp in 2023 wearing #23,before getting his #44. Last year he HELPED The Rams make The Playoffs & was IMO as solid as Jalen Ramsey & in hindsight had a better season than Jalen had in Miami.
Watching Whiterspoon against Las Vegas in front of Mcvay MIGHT have SAVED The Rams Season ??
IMO if that was T’ WHITE that’s SIX(SEVEN) a TD !!!

I can GO ON !! Yeah - I like JERSEY Numbers. I watch BubbaRam & Ramball look at Jersey Numbers.
Asking them about the changes .

Example Cooper Kupp,JJ from class of 2017 who was drafted before him.DK1 Anyways —

Ernest Jones will be wearing #13 w/the hags but #53 is his thing.

Whiterspoon (was #44) is wearing #4 who (Jordan) Fuller’s old number after he switched.

John Johnson #43 The Rams didn’t resign again until training camp after they drafted Kinchins. That was a bad sign & signing altogether.

Those UDRFA have played well.I guess what I’m trying to say is I guess The Hope is Omar Speights out plays EJ13 !! We can get all up into these numbers as well that

I ONLY hope it ends up with a Rams Victory against the hags.

Don't worry: I'm certified in a degree of insanity when it comes to my stories. I'm qualified to teach.

I think you are confused
Actually you’re right.I’ve actually liked Johan Jackson.I think he was signed a year before Hoecht.
-They competed for that RDT spot.
Hoecht was tough, but got eaten up because of his size (strength, weight)
.Johan was always on the bubble.Good to see him back with The Rams. Those are the type of players who get developed & over looked.Sort of like a poor glue such as Reeder. They stick & do the job,but know at some point it needs to be changed.
