Oh my goodness! at the 1:10 mark is that epic toss of the touchdown ball to the ref who nonchalantly catches it 1 handed without moving an inch and keeping his arms in the Touchdown signal.
yeah

noticed that also

It is what it is.

It might hurt, like your wife banging the neighbor, but you got to let em go.
Terrible analogy. Rams release Kupp, I am sad.
Wife bangs the neighbor , someone is going to jail, lawyers, hospital, something.

Does this take into account defenders or coverage?

He's been a known commodity and every team knows Staff tended to fixate on him so its not shocking that teams devoted more his way. I know the video was only one example of probably many. I get that stats shows part of the picture but just from watching during the season I wasn't seeing him lose so much as teams game planned for him. Its like when people thought AD dropped off when he was getting doubles or more almost every snap.

That pass was also double covered, not sure why staff even threw that risky throw :laugh1:.

Well, on the bright side, your neighbor could be a beautiful blond woman who lives alone!

Man this sucks - business may be business but it still blows.
Yeah - who has been a better draft pick under his 8 years than Kupp under Mcvay ? NOBODY!!

He has meant a lot to The Rams organization.A part of me wonders about something else as well? There were a couple thoughts from both sides during the lossing streak. My weird thought—

One thing you knew Kupp made plays & could be counted on.Still that step lost means more than you might think. A Detroit game was an example if you want just 1 throw.

Root for the name on the FRONT of the Jersey, NOT the back.

I’ll always love Kupp but no one is bigger than the organization.

Yes, I agree….still a Ram fan, just a little less today. Kupp is one in a lifetime player for me. That “For the love of the game” catch he had against Tampa in the playoffs to ice that game with a Matt Gay field goal, and then every game after that in the playoffs that year made him a legend…a goofy hard working kid from Yakima who worked harder and did not want attention……rarer than rare. I am now hearing rumors that the Seahawks are going to offer a big contract to him. I will always root for Cooper Kupp.

AD was double or triple teamed from very early on in his career. Year 2 or 3 at the absolute latest. AD retired before his skills diminished. Very Very few do that
Other D's had keyed on Kupp for a very long time already. He was able to succeed regardless of that. He has slowed down, and can no longer do that.
Kupp has been a great Ram. Reality is he is no longer the player he was.

Sad to see this, Kupp felt like a beacon of sunshine during the aftermath of those dark and then mediocre years under Linehan, Spags, and Fisher. Rated his route running highly as a prospect and gleefully reveled all the draft pundits giving him a C- or lower when he silenced them with his blocking, route running, and ankle breaking cuts. It's a shame that age and injuries caught up to him; I suspected he has been off since that injury midseason in 2022 and making those insane cuts to shred opposing DBs' ankles were destroying his in the process. Hope he comes back as a WR coach when he decides to hang it up; him and McVay were godsends turning this team from a basement dweller to a perennial winner

I think you can answer this really easily just by paying for the All-22 and watching our games last season.
