Everyone knows Kupp is a stud and having a historic season.
But in a weird way... he's being overshadowed by Donald's greatness, BadMatt Staffords pick 6s, GoodMatt Staffords 4thQ heroics, OBJ's comeback tour, Von Miller's acclimation, Covid protocols etc etc etc.

Yo, Los Angeles Rams. You are hollywood now. You have mainstream media connections. PUT THE WORD OUT. Kupp for MVP

FORGET the triple crown aspect. That speaks for itself. It's his impact in the running game that is on a level of its own. Look at Sony Michels TD run. Kupp was the key block, blowing his assignment back.
Nobody is better with the ball in his hands this year and nobody is better without the ball. That's an MVP season. It doesn't matter if he doesn't win it - the QB love affair will never go away - what matters is that he should... and it's possible he could.

Man, I hadn’t realized how much it‘s become a QB award. 8 in a row, last non QB Adrian Peterson in 2012. Then QB’s again until LaDainian Tomlinson and Shawn Alexander back to back in 2006/2005.

1996 Lawrence Taylor was the last non QB or RB. :wow2:

Never been a WR win it.

Tough sell to get it out of the QB world. Unless he breaks records and now that is within reach, I don’t see it happening.

Kind of like the OPoY is for any not a QB.

It's Rogers this year.
If the Rams had beaten the Pack, Stafford would be the leader right now.

I understand what all of you are saying, but he's having one of those seasons where he deserves the talk even if he won't win.

Even with the interceptions.
You'll note... they are the biggest reason the Rams lost to the Packers.. so the biggest reason he won't be MVP.

So... on track.
I mean do you think if the Rams had defeated the Packers that Stafford would still lead despite all of the bad Int’s he’s had recently? Count Tennessee, Minnesota, Baltimore, and San Francisco.

I think Brady would lead. Kupp should lead but he’s not a QB so we know it’s unlikely.

Stafford has a better QB Rating than Brady and is more than good enough in yards and TDs to make his case and won the head to head and would be leading the team with the best record in the NFC.
That's the textbook argument for MVP.

However, his interceptions may hurt his cause.

There should be a lot more hype around Kupp.
He's quite unassuming so unlikely it will happen.
Much like Gurley a few seasons ago, he should be in the running.
I guess he comes away with OPOY.

after the 2017 season i stopped even paying attention to who got the mvp.

i realised that nfl media have no idea about anything. well, i knew that a long time ago but that season reinforced it.

He should get some talk in the MVP race. He is the Rams MVP on offense.

I'll be very happy with him getting his first All-Pro nod.. cool stuff. There's a TON of incredible talent at the position, so that's quite an achievement.
