At this point, I don’t care. Focus on winning the next two games, and worry about it then.

We easily beat the Bucs. We lost a close one to Carolina. If Carolina rolls out that light box, get Kyren and Corum ready to go. Beat Carolina at their own game, frustrate them, and keep their offense off the field by running the ball.

This is why winning out and getting 5 seed is important.

Question is: will Sean do his "play backups" thing and drop a seed like he did last year? Thus gifting us a trip to frigid Philly or Chicago?
 
I can see why the coaches and athletes don't like to look ahead. All the speculation done by fans and media is nothing but a waist of time. As Stafford said in the post game press conference, Tell us where and when and we will be there.

I previously thought in this scenario that McVay might think rest was more important. On the other hand, they just got off a mini by and he might have told them to buckle up cause once they start the winning they are not letting up.

I mean if he really wants to, he can rest Stafford next week. Garoppolo playing with all the other starters should be good enough to beat Arizona.
 
I don't think you can rest Stafford and not the rest of the starters.

not really a bye week per se....

they'll still be practicing and preparing like normal this wee...

a real bye gives them this week off...

as far as the game? you are right if they play no starters,,, a week to heal up rather
than take more damage...

win or lose i like our chances healthy with any road game...
