ONE MILLION YARDS!!

.

Like every other rookie rb the issue is pass pro, and without ota’s or much camp or preseason you have to wonder how much trust McVay can really have in him. At least early. I think he has the talent to get the bulk of the carries but I don’t think he will.

Cam is going to pleasantly surprise some people. He will consistently get what is there. He just has to hold on to the rock and pick up the blitz. He will do that.

Committee this year - and probably going forward. Stats will suffer but hopefully it means fresher legs carry the ball in the playoffs

I concur, have a feeling McVay taking a page out of the Kyle Shanahan book and I'm perfectly okay with it.

For the Rams to be successful, they will need to run the ball over 425 times. Akers should see at least 60% of those, so about 250 carries. 4 ypc puts him over 1k
Brown will break before his 50th carry, Henderson who knows. So spread out another 125 and there you have it

Hope he does better than how is currently is doing on my Madden franchise. Got a dislocated elbow and out 4 weeks lol.

On plus side, Malcolm Brown has 150 yards and 3 TDs in his place over 2 weeks.

Um. So how many yards did you choose?

From what I gather, unlike most rookie backs pass protection is one of Cams strong suits.
In 2019 he put the ball on the ground 3 times off of 231 carries. Gurley had same amount 3 off of 223.
Did not look up previous years on Cam nor would I consider myself informed on any fumble issues in camp.

I agree" Cam is going to pleasantly surprise some people."
I feel the same about our oline, however I think it may take a few weeks to iron out the bugs up front.
The only reason I didn't project Cam over 1000 rushing is because I think, Henderson is going to pleasantly
surprise some people as well.

Great post. And I agree about Hendo, he's gonna surprise some people this year. He really ran hard in that 49er game. Sucks he got injured, I think we woulda seen some good stuff from him late last season. Between Hendo / Cam / Brown I think we got a nice RB committee room.
