The kid had what should have been two TDs and another potential big catch in the last game. He stood out among a safe but limited TE group that allowed the Rams to bring him along at his speed but clearly he's ready.

It is his time now. Rams will come out of the bye with more opportunity for him. And possibly the same with Mumps.

I know there's another thread on Ferg -- but I LOVED the 13 plays. Jags had no answer & were not expecting it.
But, it's very telling on McVay's offensive mindset... on any given play, he wants 1 WR, 1 WR/TE, 1 TE & 1 RB. Puka has been the WR/TE hybrid (like Kupp before him), but if Ferg can handle it sooner rather than later, I can see a lot more 12 plays being ran & even some 13's or 22's (2 WR, 2 TE, 0 RB).
^^is that a thing or did I just make it up

Things tend to get a bit slow during the bye week so I thought I’d create a thread for any media posts you might come across.

This so nice to hear. Having that guy be over the top happy about being our coach. Working for the people he does.
We are so lucky to have him. And what a turnaround from the Georgia years where I had to be jealous of what was going on in San Francisco, Dallas, Pittsburg.
Now, we are on top. Enjoy this fellas.

Check out the receiver who goes to Ferguson after his first. I know Whittington didn't get many pass attempts thrown to him last game, but this guy is an absolute glue player. I guarantee that the other players love him. That's why he's valuable @RamBradford85 ; he does all of the little things to help the team, whether it's blocking, returning kicks, receiving, whatever, and he does it all like an absolute team player. And honestly? You need those guys if you want to win. Talent, of course you need, but talent doesn't mean shit if there's not unselfish guys holding the team together; that's why Desean never truly won a ring with us in our Super Bowl year.

Yeah - he's a good dude. And he's got some wheels.
i was kinda surprised he didn't get more playing time against the Jags.

He did get a fair bit of playing time. It was just that he was being used mostly as a blocker and short (possibly decoy) routes. Used as a blocker on the second long pass to Parkinson on the second touchdown drive, had an opportunity to get a long first down on the third offensive drive, but it was tight coverage, got a first down on his bubble screen completion.
