I made a big pot of Louisiana style Red Beans N Rice.

Andouille sausage, smoked ham steaks, smoked ham hocks, the trinity, red kidneys, and some jalapeños. Pour a bunch of that over some white rice, throw some fresh scallions on top, pour on some hot sauce.

Pasta with shrimp and scallops in my home made pesto sauce, with pine nuts and romano cheese sprinkled on top.
Asparagus as the veggie.
Ended up doing the Filipino take out thingy yesterday for the Oregon / SC game.
Man, nothing beat homemade pesto with fresh pine nuts.
Where I live we can drive out to a certain area and harvest up to 25 lbs of pine nuts during Sept and Oct.
That home made pesto is amazing.
 
By the way my beef dip sands are a big hit. The only thing I did differently from the video was that I didn't put cheese on them and I didn't have brown sugar. I picked up some fresh baked Hoagies from the bakery which everyone loved. Made 9 for 5 people and there is only one left. LOL
