Been watching 1883. A prequel to 1923 and Yellowstone. I was impressed with the acting of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. Really good show. Kinda sad at times how rough that life was back then.

So I discovered today that if you have a sub to Apple.tv or Peacock you can add the other to your account for just an extra $4 a month. I'm sure there are other things like this but thought that was interesting.

I have always like whatever Adam Baldwin is in.
Eric Dane is somebody I hadn't really seen before the show and I like now and I really liked Bridget Regan in that and Legend of the Seeker in it's short run before too.

Feeling kind of foolish being so late to the party, but I started watching Suits and man am I hooked!

Suits is great. USA and AMC fueled my need to actually have cable/satellite back before streaming 15-20 years ago. I feel like Apple tv is the current entertainment source that can kinda compare to how many great shows those two had at the time.

That is so spot on! I took the free 90 day trial when I got a new iPhone and the programming is so good I started paying for it when the trial ran out

Talk about a show completely ruining the book series.

One of many unfortunately. That one, WoT and Shannara come to mind. I have a lot of hope for the Brandon Sanderson series because he's one of the show runners.

WOT and Shannara were only medium ruined. Whereas Sword of Truth might as well just had the name of the characters

Disagree with WoT though that first season was an absolute disaster compared to the books but they did better before it got cancelled.

First couple of episodes of WOT were okay except for the women maybe being the reincarnated dragon. I mean - the dragon had to be male because of the male saidan making males go mad. The whole point of the series was whether the dragon would go mad before the final battle.

Widow's Bay is awesome so far! We're halfway through. Super creepy but also hilarious

Probably old news to some but season 4 of Dark Winds has made it to Netflix. Nice to see Franka Potente again.

Finished the new Little House On The Prairie , on Netflix

Over all I thought it was pretty good

Having read all the books and pretty close to the same age as Melissa Gilbert , I grew up with little Miss Ingalls on TV

So like most fans of the original Little House On The Prairie , we waited to see modern Hollywood would retell a classic from the 1970s for a "modern" audience

An well , they didn't muck it up to bad ,

This new version is a little more somber then the original , less humor , the support cast were fine , but little generic , all likeable , but probably forgettable,

The girl playing Laura did a fine job as well , even if she does look like she was abopted........lol

The new Laura does lack Melissa Gilberts spunk

It is unfair to compare a tv show with 8 episodes to one with over 200

But still , the wife and I enjoyed it

From the opening credits we knew the show was going to have a different tone
